Technologie 3D tisku v designu nábytku

The bachelor thesis is focused on the issues in the field of 3D printing technology. This thesis consists of two main parts, the theoretical part and practical. The theoretical part is focused on 3D printing technology. It deals with the proces and analysis of used materials. Consistenly is focused for functional use of printing in specified industries including its application in the field of design. The practical part consists of the description and realization of a functional prototype. This is preceded by the preparation of a research and it is related with issues to design sketches of screen. This is followed by the steps of designing, making a 3D model, visualisation and production of the model.

Kocúrová, Z.: The things we /do not/ need /Graduation Thesis/ Praha 2012 - Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Education, Department of Art Education. Supervisor M. Sedlák. The aim of the graduation thesis is the relation of human and space in the context of philosophy, psychology, social history, art and education. The theoretical part is focused on open and closed space, on their relationship to basic human needs as safeness and solidarity. Individuals apply isolation and control to defeat their fears. The means of open architecture are connected with these issues as well. The second part of my work concentrates on my art projects inspired by the mentioned concepts. My installations, actions and cycle of photographs is described. The third part is focused on applications of these topics in the art teaching. Key words: open space, closed space, fear, safeness, architecture, folding screen, bags, transparency, education.
Art deco a jeho vliv na současný nábytkový design

The bachelor thesis deals with the art deco style. It describes the main characteristics, sources of inspiration, famous works or artists, but also the technologies used in this period. The whole work is accompanied by pictures so that the reader can create a comprehensive picture. The thesis focus on technologies, both the original ones used at the beginning of the 20th century, but also the modern technologies and their possibility to use the traditional Art Deco style furniture designs. It is demonstrated in the practical part.

This diploma thesis deals with design and construction of the room divider intended for CNC manufacturing. Another aim is to create a functional magnetic joint between the panels of the screen. Thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical. It describes the use of room dividers in history, and their types and nowadays uses. It also deals with the topic of CNC technology, use of the technology for the furniture manufacturing, suitable materials and joints. The second part is focused on the development of design and constructional solutions of the room divider.It presents its variants, safety requirements, magnetic joint and stability calculation of the screen.

The aim of the thesis is to design dividing element into offices (Office Space) and the production of the scale 1 : 1, which should verify the correctness of the procedure in the design and sizing of the product in terms compliance of ergonomics and used materials. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the history of the storage elements and screens, current trends, ergonomics, safety, regulations and standards, and the impact of new materials and technologies that affect the formation of product design. The practical part deals with summary, a description of the different stages of the creative process, used materials and the description of the development of the final draft.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to create paintings with a technical approach close to the traditional Japanese painting. The topics of the paintings are freely inspired by the themes of short stories of Japanese writer Ibuse Masuji. The diploma thesis consists of written part and practical part. The major part of the written part focuses on the brief summary of topic of the Japanese painting and related subjects from the Japanese culture. The main topic of the practical part is the painting on the folding screens.
