Interconnects modelling for signals transmission
Fabián, Martin ; Petržela, Jiří (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
In this work, there is solution for problem about signal itegrity and problems that causes raising frequence in circuits and machineries. There is describe interconnect analysis of models, which enable transfer of signals in mixed analog – digital circuits and a different between the analyse of an time domain and an s-domain. Next, there are described three methods of the calculation homogenous transmission line. The first method is constructed on mathematic description of transmission line. The second method uses cascade connection and T networks to the simulation model of the homogenous transmission line. The last one is constructed on the moment matching in use of state variables. These methods uses numerical inversion of Laplace transforms and these methods are constructed in programming language Matlab. Its results with the confrontation is described in the ending.
Ethernet for metallic cables
Víteček, Aleš ; Člupek, Vlastimil (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis "Ethernet for Metallic Cables" deals with the analysis of Ethernet technology, the most used technology for running computer networks. Specifically, it is focused on transmission via metallic line. The aim of this thesis is description of technology, research of the latest Ethernet standards, including the latest categories of metallic lines. Laboratory tasks and its implementation are described below. This thesis also contains a detailed lab instructions and reference values.
Analysis of information leakage from optical transmission system
Šimon, Václav ; Horváth, Tomáš (referee) ; Münster, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the structure of an optical transmission system. It focuses mainly on the transmission part of the system. It describes its parts and the functioning of the components used. It also deals with the risks of information leakage at various levels of the system (backbone networks, distribution and access networks, optical fiber). The practical part examines the issue of 3 possible risks. Firstly is measured the effect of unauthorized connection of a splitter to the optical path, then the eavesdropping in dense wavelength division multiplexing networks and the last measurement deals with the eavesdropping of the upstream signal in GPON access networks.
