Technology Power to X

The bachelor thesis deals with technologies for the electricity storage based on its conversion into another form of energy ("Power to X"). It considers the possibility of their use for the storage of electricity generated by renewable energy sources, which should gradually replace conventional electricity production in coal-fired power plants. The first chapter of the thesis is devoted to the current and possible future state of the electricity sector in the Czech Republic and a description of selected electricity generation technologies. The second chapter contains a classification and description of technologies suitable for electricity storage – their functional principles, advantages and disadvantages or e.g. possibilities of further use of products obtained by means of conversions are included. In the third chapter, selected parameters of these technologies are illustratively compared in created graphs, each containing two parameters. The results of the comparison are then continuously discussed.
Systems design and possibilities of utilization of photovoltaic power station in the Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis deals with project and possibilities of use of photovoltaic power stations at the area of the Czech Republic. The first part is dedicated to state and aproach to solar energy in our state and abroad. In the second part are described parts of mecanism used for conversion of solar radiation to electric energy. The third part deals with physical principal of photovoltaic effect. Other parts are dedicated to general project of photovoltaic power station and in the final part economic evaluation of project and joining to the transmission system are mentioned.
Transformation of a limited liability company into a joint-stock company

This thesis characterizes the main factors influencing the transformation of limited liability company into a joint stock company. The main aim of this work is to describe the whole process of transformation, approach possible ways of transforming, specify the process of changing the legal form from limited liability company and to analyze the real business environment using questionnaire and structured interview with owner of the joint stock company. Last but not least, the possibilities of transformation in the Czech Republic and Germany are being compared. Empirical results show that many companies undergoes a transformation process because their parent company requires it. Also many companies want to find new financial resources. According to the results, respondents perceive the Transformation Act as very good and do not find any fundamental problems. This work also evaluate valuations methods. Last, but not least, this thesis offers a view of issuing new shares as well as a statistical evaluation of the data obtained, which evaluates the registered capital and newly issued shares.

1 Project of transformation Abstract The diploma thesis discusses the project of transformation of trading companies and cooperatives. With the adoption of the Act on Transformations, existing institutes, on the basis of which a transformation occurred, were replaced by a single institute, namely the project of transformation. The project of transformation has become the only legal title for all types of transformations of business corporations. The aim of the thesis is to provide a more comprehensive perspective of the issue of the project of transformation, which is not provided sufficient space in the literature or decision- making activities of courts. So as to achieve a more comprehensive view of the project of transformation itself, the work is divided into eight sections and each section is devoted to a different area. The legal nature is a project of transformation by legal action, which before the amendment to the Act on Transformations imported a part of theory and case law. Now it is directly determined by the law. However, the peculiarities of a project of transformation justify an approach different from the usual legal negotiations in each area this work deals with. The subject of the diploma thesis was focused on possibilities of application of landscape- architectural means on the selected urban space in the center of Banská Bystrica. The thesis is divided into the literary and design part. The first part presents a general overview of the theme of public urban spaces. In the introduction, it defines the basic concepts, and then discusses the brief history of the development of urban spaces. It generally deals with contemporary issues, opinions and trends in the creation of public urban spaces. The second, design part presents good reference examples of the contemporary creation of public spaces in the home country as well as from abroad. It also handles complete analysis along with broader relationships. From the literary part, referenc examples and the subsequent analyzes of the territory, the findings and the bases that influenced the final form of the proposal emerged. Architectural studies process two interconnected parts of the city. The Liberty Square and the residential area, the SNP class treats as a whole. For better understanding and detailed processing of the territory, it divides it into 5 logical parts. The aim of the study was to create a quality, pleasant, safe and attractive urban space that is sensitively suited to the wider environment in the long run.
Legal, accounting and tax aspects of transformations of companies

Legal, accounting and tax aspects of transformations of companies. The presented dissertation focuses on transformation of companies. The work provides the accounting, tax and legal perspective of company transformations with the goal of interconnecting these perspectives and providing the reader with a deeper insight into company transformations. The accounting perspective is often directly connected to the tax perspective. The individual forms of transformation are discussed in the work, including their graphic model-showcasing, followed by individual basic company transformation elements and institutions related to company transformations. The individual elements are also put into historical context. Basic principles affecting company transformations and their impact primarily on the tax area are discussed within the individual views of transformation. The individual elements, institutions and principles are further examined first separately in general and then with regard to their interrelations and ways they affect one another. To conclude, a step by step scenario of one of the forms of transformation, namely split, is provided.
Latest trends in cross-border transformations and relocations of companies

The aim of this thesis is to present the latest trends in the field of the cross-border transformations and companies' relocation focusing especially on the transactions of the Czech and European companies. The Prologue of this thesis briefly outlines its structure and objectives. In the first chapter the thesis focuses on teoretical and general description of certain concepts of a seat of a corporation and its personal statute. The following chapters further examine the relevant European legislation including the functional treaties, relevant directives and case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union. The thesis further concentrates on the regulation of the particular forms of so called European companies - first of all on the European Company (SE) - and their possibilities in relation to the cross-border transformations and relocation. The attention is given also to a brand new concept of the European business register (EBR) and future expectation arissing from it. As regards the Czech national legislation the thesis provides an outline of the prior regulation abandoned by the recently adopted acts (so called recodification of the Czech private law) whereas the thesis compares both. Accounting and tax consequences of the transformations of companies

The aim of this thesis is on the base of accounting and tax treatment of corporate transformations modeled timelines for each phase of transformation, respectively. merger and spin-off, and test their functionality on the practical example. For the purpose of accomplish this goal was done, especially in the first two parts, the analysis of individual Czech and European professional publications and articles, as well as Czech and European legislation and judicature. For the next parts it was also used comparison of accounting and tax treatment of transformation, respectively. merger and spin-off, modeling timelines for each phase of transformation and their testing on practical example for the purpose of verification of functionality. The conclusion evaluates the usability of modeled timelines for practice.
