Biomechanical aspects of the reconstruction of the acetabulum
Slávik, Ondrej ; Marcián, Petr (referee) ; Florian, Zdeněk (advisor)
The research part of bacelor’s thesis Biomechanical aspects of the reconstruction of the acetabulum is dealing with historical development and current methods of solving the issue of pathological hip joints in case when use of total endoprosthesis is not suitable, for example in children. Also the anatomical view, related to the given problem situation, is outlined and the most significant disorders of the hip joint, which are connected with these cases, are characterized. In the practical part of this work, there are results of the analysis model between pathological and physiological hips analyzed and qualitatively compared, followed by the solution of the concact forces in these two situations.
Strain-stress analysis of fixed bone of foot
Zapletal, Jakub ; Fuis, Vladimír (referee) ; Návrat, Tomáš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with analysis of the rigidity of different variations of foot fixations. In the thesis there is a description of elementary anatomy of foot and its patology. Furthermore the possible corrections of hallux deformities and chosen fixators are described. The problem of analysis is soluted by the method of finite elements. The thesis also includes steps of geometery model creation based on 3D scanning. Three differents types of fixations are compared in this thesis and each of them is created in two different levels of details. There is a comparation, analysis of final solutions and chosen influences on the rigidity in the conclusion.
Strain-stress analysis of pathological hip joint
Stodola, Martin ; Florian, Zdeněk (referee) ; Návrat, Tomáš (advisor)
This work deals with stress-strain analysis pathological hip joint. In its introduction a research study from accessible literature sources is carried out. It covers contemporary state of scientific studies, anatomy of single components hip joint, their material properties, ways and magnitudes of loadings and most often FE model used. With use of all these informations, computational system ANSYS and gained CT scans, a model of geometry of pelvis and femur is created. Subsequently, the complete computational model o pathological hip point is compiled. On this model computational solution is executed stress-strain and sensitivity analysis. Subsequently, surgery operation is simulated on this model and it is executed stress-strain analysis. These analyses are compared with analysis of physiological hip joint.

Nursing specifics in the care of clients after high correction osteotomy of high proximal tibia over time.
BAČOVÁ, Emilie
Osteotomy means cutting a bone using a saw most often. It is used to adjust axial deviation, prolongation, or shortening of the bones. Over time, when there were changes in the development of the surgical technique of corrective osteotomy, changes in nursing care also occurred. This breakthrough concerns not only nursing staff, but also clients in particular. Because of the development of the surgical technique, the hospitalization time shortens and if the client does not perform a physically demanding job, where is a heavy load on the operated lower limb, the treatment time is reduced. This leads to a faster return of clients to normal life and employment. Nursing care becomes less demanding for staff than the older surgical method. The bachelor thesis is a theoretical work, which deals in the introductory part with knee joint anatomy, knee joint examination methods, explanation of the concept of gonarthrosis and the way of treating this disease. This part is followed by history of osteotomy and an explanation of the surgical method. An important part of the thesis is the description of nursing care of clients with high correction osteotomy as time goes by, which includes preoperative preparation, postoperative care and, last but not least, rehabilitation. The aim of the work is to describe, how the nursing procedures changed with the older surgical method. The second objective is to map out nursing procedures using a modern surgical method. There are the opinions of doctors and nurses of various medical disciplines, who have experienced nursing care of clients with high corrective osteotomy, mentioned. Gained knowledge could serve as a guide to nursing care of clients after high corrective osteotomy of the proximal tibia.
