Mixing board with class-AB output amplifier
Krolák, David ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the type of mixer preamplifier with active tone control for each of four inputs. This preamplifier is used at dance parties, concerts and recording songs if it equipped with a line output for recording device. The thesis also includes design of power amplifier in class AB with output power 2 × 100 W at 8 nominal load, simulations and a summary of the results.
Programmable signal generator connected via USB
Patočka, Lukáš ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is design and construction of a periodic signal generator prototype. The generator will use Atmel XMEGA128A4U microcontroller with computer control managed via USB interface. The thesis contains general solutions to the problem of generating signals with a special focus on utilization of DA converter – digital synthesis and reconstruction of the signal from DA converter output to continuous signal. The thesis further deals with implementation of the USB layer using two libraries (LUFA library on microcontroller side and LubUsbDotNet library on computer side). The final solution will include DC step-up converter for signal peak amplitude assessment and summing amplifier for adding the DC voltage to the output signal. The application will allow for generating signals of various shapes including user-defined ones. These signals will be displayed in the actual application window. There, users will be allowed to create user-defined signal in easy-to-use GUI or load it directly from a file.
Design and construction of the audio power amplifier
Malina, Vítězslav ; Brančík, Lubomír (referee) ; Hruboš, Zdeněk (advisor)
In this bachelor's thesis, I explore the design of complete audio performance amplifiers in stereo and the output power of 2x75W. Amplifier contains the switching between microphone and line input, correction pre-amplifier with output to headphones and power amplifier with output switching options. The purpose of this thesis is the design of circuit and computer simulation of individual parts of the amplifiers, PCB design and bulid amplifiers.
Two-channel nine-band equalizer
Kollár, Marcel ; Kolka, Zdeněk (referee) ; Petržela, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this project has been making the acquaintance of the adjustment of the audio signal of the frequencies switches and the suggestion of the nine band analogue equalizer. The suggestion equalizer was simulating in the program PSpice. Make a printed circuit using Eagle software and construct equalizer also with excitation indicator. The best option for the implementation of the equalizer has seemed to apply of the band’s correctors with the series resonant circuit. Every band in the equalizer has the distinction with the definite resonant frequency f0 and with extent of the correction ±dB. This project points out some options of the adjustment of the audio signal with help frequencies correctors and filters.
