Secondary School Teachers' workload and their coping with it

Teaching is among the professions with the highest risk of occupational burnout. Even though this issue was described and discussed in detail many times before, no effective solution has been found so far. In my bachelor thesis, I will focus on the work load of high school teachers and how to cope with it. In the theoretical part I will explain basic terms such as work load, stress, occupational burnout and stress prevention. In the practical part I will analyze the level of work load on Secondary Technical School in Klatovy. I will also describe methods used to cope with the stress.
Preventing occupational burnout among field social workers in the Mladá Boleslav District

Occupational burnout is a serious and increasingly discussed topic. Its serious consequences do not affect only workers employed in social services, but also employees of individual facilities. Appropriate prevention could help to stop the loss of qualified workers. This thesis explores possible preventive measures against the burnout focusing among field social workers in the Mladá Boleslav District. The theoretical part of this thesis defines occupational burnout, describes its causes of origin, phases, its disease pattern, treatment, prevention including specific risks related to this profession. The final chapter focuses on the possibilities of personal development aimed at preventing the occurrence of occupational burnout. For the practical part, a combined research method was selected applying the quantitative approach of questionnaires for social service workers together with a qualitative method of conducting interviews with senior executives. The results are presented in verbal as well as graphical form. The aim of this research was to find out about the level of prevention among selected social service workers in Mladá Boleslav. The EthicalDilemmas of the Employees (At/In) The Depart Ment With a Special Regime

This bachelor thesis ponders a topic of ethical dilemmas occured at social workers while working in nursing homes for elderly. This paper is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with ethical dilemmas and coping with them. Therefore, moral, moral behaviour, professional ethics as well as moral codex are looked into. The theoretical part also describes the burnout syndrome, mental hygiene and means of relaxing along with professional supervision in the workplace. Moreover, social services and social workers are defined, including key attitudes towards a client. The practical part is built on the research itself based on personal experience of social workers. In order to collect the data a qualitative research, a method of enquiry and semi-structured questionnaire were applied. The team of four women and two men, working in the Nursing home for the elderly in Máj in České Budějovice, was chosen via the intentional choice. The minimal length of work experience for one year represented the key criterium for the intentional choice. The last chapter of the practical part is devoted to the analysis of the collected data. Finally, the outcomes of the research are presented in the conclusion of the paper.
Pedagogical training by the eyes of their graduates

In my dissertation about the issue Pedagogical preparation met by the graduates I'm dealing with the position and approach of the students to the pedagogical preparation. I'm focusing particularly on what view the students and graduates have at the pregradual preparation. This perspective is alsoextended by the view of young teachers. The dissertation's is mainly the deeper understanding of the process of pedagogical preparation, grasping the problems of young teachers and consequently solve these problems. The main issue of this dissertation are the most frequent troubles students, graduates and young teachers have. For that I'm definig terms as pedagogical preparation, young teacher and teacher's personality in the theoretical part of the dissertation. The theoretical part is the instrument towards the second part, which is the peactical part to make its interpretation easier.
