This Bachelor thesis deals with housing policy on both general level as well as local level of the town of Šlapanice. It covers the basic features of the development of housing policy before the year 1989 upto the present. The work describes the housing policy conception and the types of support for the housing stock development. Also, the thesis lists the ultimate legislation important for city authorities to manage its housing policy. Further, it specifies the structure, range and condition of the municipal housing stock in Šlapanice, including its administration instruments. The conclusion is based on the acquired information and finding, and evaluates the administration of the municipal housing stock in Šlapanice.

The topic of the thesis is municipal housing policy. It is divided into three parts – two theoretical, one practical. The first theoretical part explains general characteristics of the housing policy, describes the role of the state and the goals in general. The second theoretical part presents the State Housing Concept from 2005, its goals, their fulfilment, current situation of the housing stock, as well as available sources of support. The practical part focuses on the housing policy of towns and cities, i.e. municipal housing policy. It shows various ways to manage municipal houses – via housekeeping companies and relevant municipal departments. An example of two existing towns shows the differences in the ways of management, budgets and division of powers.
Social housing - segment integral housing policy and its conceptual solution in statutory city of Opava

The diploma thesis "Social Housing - an integral segment of the housing policy and its conceptual design in the Statutory City of Opava" deals with the problem of increasing numbers of individuals or groups who have problems with obtaining decent housing or with the maintenance of the current housing market in the Czech Republic. After 1989, the transformation of housing and significantly changed its ownership structure. Social rental housing segment, however, in our almost non-existent, the concept of social housing is enshrined in our legal framework and no common concept and function for the Czech Republic as a country. In Western Europe, while social housing tradition since the 19th century and is now the total number of rental housing for 18 % allocated as social housing. In the current situation and economic context, it is clear that a stable population will be unable to provide themselves and maintain their own housing. Housing is yet one of the basic social needs, which is not possible without the development of both individual and society. Housing is considered as a specific asset to which not only can be viewed through the lens of economic criteria. For these reasons, it is accentuated in the thesis that social housing in the Czech Republic would be an integral part of the housing stock....

Privatizace městského bytového fondu v Havlíčkově Brodu

Cílem diplomové práce je přiblížit čtenáři vývoj a základní charakteristiky koncepce bytové politiky ČR a dále pak způsob jakým vznikl městský bytový fond. Čtenáři této práce by měli pochopit právní koncepci privatizace obecních bytů a její aplikaci na konkrétním případu privatizace bytového fondu v Havlíčkově Brodu, kterou zde uvádím včetně jejího zhodnocení. V poslední kapitole se budu věnovat vyhodnocení výsledků dotazníků, které jsem získal na základě výběrového šetření od dotazovaného spektra lidí, jichž se privatizace týkala. Na jeho základě ověřím pomocí statistické metody Chí-kvadrat test logické hypotézy stanovené na základních ekonomických úvahách a všeobecně známých skutečnostech.
