The analysis of shopping facilities and consumer behaviour in the town of Moravske Budejovice

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of shopping facilities and consumer behaviour in the town of Moravske Budejovice. The thesis is divided into three separate chapters. The first chapter is devoted to theoretical introduction to the issue and describes basic terms related to the topic. The second chapter focuses on the shopping facilities in Moravske Budejovice. The third chapter interprets the results of the analysis of consumer behaviour based on the conducted survey. The aim of the questionnaire was to determine whether the current number of shops is sufficient or whether the customers would prefer a new shop.
The analysis of shopping facilities and consumer behaviour in the city of Košice

Bachelor thesis describes the shopping facilities of Košice and consumer behaviour of local residents. It focuses on retailing, the area of foodstuffs. The first chapter briefly describes the history and current geographic and demographic state of Košice and recounts in detail the retail facilities of the city. The second chapter describes current trends in customer behaviour throughout Slovakia. The third chapter analyzes and evaluates the results of the questionnaire focused on the consumer behaviour of customers in Košice. In the final part, the nationwide consumer trends are compared to the trends in Košice and a typical customer of Košice is specified.
Availability of the modern retail store formats across regions in the Czech Republic

The Bachelor paper deals with the analysis of the availability of the modern retail store formats across regions in the Czech Republic. In the first chapter the contemporary retail store network in the Czech Republic is introduced and its position within the framework of the international comparison of the retail store format availability. The basic characteristics of these formats are mentioned there and the specific companies which operate these formats on the Czech market are introduced. The second chapter deals with the methodology and the theoretical basis of the analysis. The third chapter then deals with the individual analysis of the availability of the modern retail store formats across regions in the Czech Republic (or the physical availability of these formats). First the availability in the Czech Republic as a whole is briefly analysed and then a further analysis is conducted on the level of the regional division NUTS 3 (regions) and LAU 1 (districts).

The thesis analyzes buying behavior of consumers and retail availability in Karlovy Vary. It describes the network of retail stores, which focus on groceries. The analysis is based on questionnaires which were concerned with a structure of buyers, frequency of visitation and aspects influencing selection of the favorite shops. The final part consists of a summary of questionnaire outcomes and a comparison with nationwide trends of consumer buying behavior.

The bachelor thesis analyzes buying terms and buying habits in retail trade in the area of groceries in the town of Prostějov. The introduction presents the topic of buying behaviour and determines the aim of the thesis. The town of Prostějov and its surroundings are characterized in the first chapter which also describes the retail network of Prostějov. The second chapter characterizes current buying behaviour in the Czech Republic. The third part is devoted to the results of the realized questionnaire, which are summarized and compared with available market nationwide trends in the conclusion.

This bachelor thesis deals with the buying conditions in Olomouc and buying behaviour of its inhabitants, especially in the area of food-stuff and goods of everyday use. The first chapter is dedicated to the characteristics of the city itself, demographic and economical data and territorial distribution. The second chapter characterizes facilities of the city in terms of shopping. There are introduced major shopping units and their distribution throughout the Olomouc retail system. The third chapter, a fundamental part of the thesis, analyses buying behaviour of inhabitants. As a chief method there were used questionnaires fulfilled in selected households.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the retail network in Hořovice and evaluate whether the number of retail units correspond to the number of the population. It deals with the shopping facilities and retail networks, especially with the assortment of groceries. The first part focuses on theoretical basis, which is necessary for the retail network analysis of the city. There is mentioned retail and its segmentation, the theory of regional analysis and the methods used in it and the characteristic of types of single retail units. The second part describes the region and the town Hořovice. There is a brief history of the city, geographic and demographic data, social and cultural factors, housing situation in the city and some economic data. The third chapter is devoted to research. First there is indicated the location and characteristics of retail units and then are analyzed the results from the own research.
The role of public administration and municipal governments in solving retail availibility

The thesis analyses the capabilities and tools public administration and local governments have for influencing retail availibility. It confronts these possibilites with the policies of market entities engaged in retailing. A broad range of possible interactions between the public sector and market is documented on particular experiences. These examples also show the changes in the trends and structure of retail availability in the Czech republic.

The main priority of the universally used marketing concept is to define and satisfy customer needs. The analysis of consumer buying behaviour exactly helps us to understand it. The aim of this study was to define the shopping behavior of the population of the city Vimperk. Parts of the analysis were to find out where the inhabitants of the city and his neighbourhood shop, give reasons to their purchase in the selected location, eventually compare the observed facts to the nationwide trends and to assess the level of shops availability in the city.
