Detached house in Opatovice
Řezáčová, Veronika ; Jelínek, Petr (referee) ; Dohnal, Jakub (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to develop a documentation for building permit of a new-build single-family house. First part of this thesis focuses on architectural and structural design of detached house with separate garage. This part also contains building physics assessment and fire safety assessment. The house has a rectangular shape, two-storeys and it is roofed with a gable roof. On the ground floor, there is a wind lobby, a utility room, a hall with a staircase, a study, a small storage, a living room connected with a kitchen, a bathroom and a toilet. On the first floor, there is one master bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe, a bathroom and three children’s bedrooms. The structural system is designed as masonry composed of sand-lime blocks, external walls are insulated with EPS. Foundations and floor structure are designed as the cast-in-place reinforced concrete slabs and the roof structure is made of prefabricated elements. Second part contains the concepts of building services design and a documentation for building permit for the heating system. The main source of heat is an air-water heat pump. Domestic hot water is also heated by solar panels and the house is heated by floor heating. Ventilation is ensured by a mechanical ventilation unit with heat recovery. Rainwater will be collected in a storage tank and used for watering the garden. An energy performance certificate of the building is also included.
Energy retrofitting of a family home to the nearly zero energy building
Uhlíř, David ; Fišer, Jan (referee) ; Charvát, Pavel (advisor)
The diploma thesis is devoted to reducing the energy intensity of a two-storey family house from the 1960s, to a building with almost zero energy consumption. First, the family house is analyzed in terms of the condition before reconstruction. The result of this analysis is a certificate of energy performance of the building in its original condition. Within the individual chapters, I subsequently propose specific energy saving measures. At the end of each chapter, these measures are economically evaluated using the New Green Savings Grant Program. The first measure is dedicated to improving the thermal technical properties of the building envelope. This is ensured by the complex insulation of the family house and the replacement of the original windows and doors. The second measure is devoted to the design of a suitable method of forced ventilation with heat recovery. As part of the third measure, I assess and select a suitable heat source that will replace the original heat source of the family house. As a final measure, I propose the use of a renewable energy source in the form of a photovoltaic system, which is based on energy simulation in the program DEKSOFT FVE. At the end of my work, I am developing a building energy performance certificate, which assesses the fulfillment of the condition of a building with almost zero energy consumption.
Office building
Eryshova, Natalia ; Stránská, Zuzana (referee) ; Struhala, Karel (advisor)
The aim of this Master´s Thesis is to create project documentation for office building with nearly zero energy consumption. The topic of the Master´s Thesis is Office Building located in Brno Komárov. Thesis is divided in to 3 main parts. In a first part, constructional solution is proposed. Office building is designed for recruitment agency with capacity of 32 personnel that consists of 3 floors, green roof and green facade. Ground plan of designed building is in rectangular shape. On the first floor there is a reception, offices, registry, small kitchen and staff room. Second floor is similar to the first one but it has a conference room. Third floor is designed as staff room with coffee lounge. In second part of Master Thesis design of building services engineering systems is proposed. Building uses forced ventilation with heat recovery. Heating is provided by two condensing gas boilers. Supply of electric energy is partially ensured by photovoltaic power plant. In addition, rain water is effectively used in this building. In the third part evaluation of six designed compositions of floor with Life Cycle Assessment method is done. Software used to elaborate this Master´s Thesis are following: ArchiCad, DekSoft, GaBi, Excel and Lumion.
Coworking centre, Ostrava
Zelenkov, Kryštof ; Jelínek, Petr (referee) ; Müller, Jan (advisor)
This master´s thesis aims to elaborate on the design documentation for an office building with nearly zero - energy consumption. The building is located in Ostrava - Moravská Ostrava. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part is focused on architectural and structural design. The office building has two main parts. The first floor is a composes a café and building services of the building. The second and third floors contain meeting rooms, a printer room, and open-space offices. The Café employs 3 baristas and serves 32 customers. The office section has a capacity of 56 people. The ground plan of the designed building is in an L-shape. The building has a flat green roof. The external walls are made of aerated concrete insulated with mineral wool. The second part deals with the building services of the building: boiler, ventilation, heat pump, and photovoltaic panels. The third part deals with the information from the BIM energetic model to create a more productive workflow and using modern technology for our benefit.
