The Religious Significance of Animals in the Czech and Moravian Neolithic

This bachelor thesis deals with the animal worship in neolithic. The author focuses on the material proof of possible worship from Bohemia and Moravia. These proofs includes special treatment with animal relics and artistic representation of animals in sculpture and zoomorphic vessels. There are examples of similar artefacts from neighboring states. The thesis tries to summarize their interpretations. Next part is focused on ethnological evidence of animal worship and its possible connections with neolithic religion.
