Analysis of non-linear oscillation of 2 DOF vibration energy harvester
Penyak, Milan ; Sosna, Petr (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis is focused on simulating an energy harvester that contains both hardening and softening nonlinear stiffness. The purpose is to analyze the response of the system from the point of view of the extension of the bandwidth and from the point of view of the shape of the amplitude-frequency response. The simulations are preceded by a review of nonlinear stiffness design solutions, which serve as an example and inspiration for a possible constructed structure. Simulations are carried out in the form of harmonic excitation with constant amplitude and time-varying frequency, in some cases even with a constant frequency. In the end, the results of the simulations are presented and the nonlinear system is compared with the linear one in the context of the generated power.
Electromagnetic energy harvesting resonator for train trackside
Rusková, Miroslava ; Singule, Vladislav (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis was to design an electromagnetic generator to the purpose of supplying signalling and safety devices on the rail tracks. The electromagnetic generator is a separate electrical source, which is mainly needed for safety in the case of not covered tracks by electrical installation. The thesis proposes two types of electromagnetic generator and one with non-linear stiffness, which are designed for the passage of trains with low frequency.
