The main object of this work is to find out whether knowledge of communication among paramedical staff differs with regard to their job title. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part contains the following chapters: the importance of communication in nursing care, communication, specifics of the communication in convalescence care department. Quantitative research investigating the differences between four groups of paramedical staff is part of the empirical section. All of them are employees of the convalescence care department in Poličská nemocnice, s.r.o.
