Child with support alternative communication and his boarding in kindergarten
PALEČKOVÁ, Sandra
The Bachelor Work covers as its core subject the children´s communication ability disturbance problems in the nursery schools. This subject has been indicated as one of the most essential topics of the present time based upon many related causes such as constantly growing interventions of speech therapists, special teachers and nursery teachers themselves too. The question to what extent have the present nursery teachers been prepared for the children´s communication ability disturbance problems, which they come across within their everyday praxis, naturally comes to the fore in relation with this topic. The theoretical part of the Bachelor Work deals in its introductory chapters with the basic concepts such as communication and speech. It clarifies the fundamental knowledge about the communication ability disturbance problems of preschool children and the possibilities of using the alternative and augmentative communication forms. These communication forms represent a temporary or sometimes even a permanent compensation of the communication abilities of the children with those communication ability disturbances. The empirical part of the Bachelor Work examines the individual approach of the nursery teachers to the children´s communication ability disturbances by the qualitative research method.
