Control of hydropower function of selected reservoir by using dispatcher graph
Miřácká, Eva ; Marton, Daniel (referee) ; Menšík, Pavel (advisor)
The Bachelor’s thesis is focused on the control of hydropower function of selected reservoir by dispatcher graph. The simulation at flow range verified the functionality of the dispatcher graph. The program Microsoft Excel is used for design of dispatcher graph and simulation of the control.
Water Management Analysis of Reservoir Storage Capacity Due to Climate Change
Šenková, Monika ; Menšík, Pavel (referee) ; Marton, Daniel (advisor)
The aim of this work is a water management solution of the storage volume of the Vlachovice reservoir in the conditions of climate change. Due to the long-term drought and flood period, the Czech Republic decided to build multi-purpose reservoirs. One of them is the multi-purpose water reservoir Vlachovice. The tanks are designed for a certain storage volume, which is calculated from the flow series in a given water profile. Flows on watercourses are conditioned by climatic and geomorphological conditions. Climatic conditions are constantly changing and significantly affect flows. It is difficult to determine the future of water flows. Future flows are generated based on measured values ??and expected climate change using mathematical models. In this work, just these two scenarios of the future of flow series depending on the amount of precipitation and temperature changes are compared.
Water Management Analysis of Reservoir Storage Capacity Under Climate Change
Smolík, Lukáš ; Knoppová, Kateřina (referee) ; Marton, Daniel (advisor)
The thesis is processed from several partial steps. The first step is to calibrate and validate the hydrological model using real meteorological and hydrological data using the balance hydrological model in Runoff Prophet. Furthermore, using the corresponding statistical downscaling in the LARS WG program. Create climatological data sets considering climate change. Hydrological transformation of climatological data by hydrological model to compile sets of hydrological series for Vlára river basin. Recalculate the hydrological data to the body of the dam for the tributary of the Vlára River, including water transfers from the basins of the Sviborka and Smolinka streams. The last step of the work is to analyze the storage volume and its respective improved water outflow from the tank and to assess the impact of climate change on the storage volume of the tank.
Using a Hybrid Method for Control the Storage Capacity of the Dam Reservoir
Pospíšilík, Šimon ; Kozel, Tomáš (referee) ; Menšík, Pavel (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on the selection of a suitable input regional climate model into the Hybrid method for the control of the storage function of water reservoirs. This control method is based on a suitable combination optimization method with the Support vector machines method. Selecting a suitable regional climate model is done by simulating the control of the storage function of water reservoirs Vír I in program Microsoft Exel. The simulation results of the hybrid control method are compared with other control methods. These methods are Adaptive control, Dispatcher graph, and control to Improved outflow.
Creating of Dispatcher Graph for a Selected Dam Reservoir Considering Climate Change
Hakl, Petr ; Sobek, Martin (referee) ; Menšík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of a thesis is construct a several dispatcher graphs for a selected Vír I. water dam, from real flow series, then extended by synthetic flow series generated by regional climatic models. Particular models will be discribed, so the construction of dispatcher graph. Graphs will be compared by appropriately selected parameters. In the end of the thesis will be comparision of requirements sets by manipulate order with predicted evolution of affluent to the dam and sustainability for todays claims relation on improved outflows in future with the same condition.
A Water Management Analysis of the Rychtářov Reservoir on the Velká Haná Watercourse
Fliega, Adam ; Marton, Daniel (referee) ; Menšík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is a water management analysis of the reservoir storage capacity of the Rychtářov reservoir on the Velká Haná watercourse. The essence of the analysis is to find an improved outflow for the selected reservoir storage capacity at the specified reliability using the exercise type no. 4. The solution provides two variants of calculation, introducing losses into calculation and neglecting losses into calculation. These variants are then compared at the work.
