Porovnání revenue managementu klasických a nízkonákladových leteckých společností

The main subject of this bachelor’s thesis is to compare two price-making models of airlines, namely the full-service and the low-cost model. The first part aims to introduce and describe some of the crucial concepts of flight carriers, complementary services, revenue management and its functioning. The second part focuses on trend analysis of air flight tickets and booking classes over time of the companies ČSA and Ryanair from a collected set of data for specific destinations. Positive and negative aspects of full-service and low-cost airlines are discussed at the end of the second part, which will then be used to create a hybrid model.
European Low-cost Air Transport and the Verification of the Blue Ocean Stategy

This thesis tries to prove a functioning of the Blue Ocean Strategy on the case of Europen low-cost air transport. Through the Blue Ocean Strategy´s Analytical Tools and Frameworks, specifically with the help of the Strategy Canvas, the Four Actions Framework and the Eliminate-Reduce-Raise-Create Grid, it is proven that the strategy introduced by the airline Ryanair in the nineties of the twentieth century corresponds to the Blue Ocean Strategy. Through the same Analytical Tools and Frameworks and a comparison of business models of three low-cost airlines also the time validity of the Blue Ocean Strategy is proven in this case. The functioning of the Blue Ocean Strategy on the case of European low-cost air transport was verified.

Bachelor thesis "Current preferences on Internet Air Transport Services " examines the preferences of passengers in the passenger air transport sector . The main objective is to find the factors which influence consumers when choosing airlines and the flights themselves . Work focuses specifically on low-cost aviation sector . The first chapter defines the terms relating to air transport and are characterized by different types of airlines . The second part is focused on low-cost airline Ryanair . There is a specified business model, marketing and change pro- customer approach in recent years . The final chapter is devoted to new knowledge, recommendations for the Czech market and SWOT analysis of Ryanair. This work was undertaken on the basis of a survey .
European Low Cost Air Transport

The thesis deals with the issues of the low cost carriers and analyses the features of the European low cost airlines. It contains analysis of the differences between low cost airlines and traditional airlines and enumerates the fields where the low cost airlines reduce their costs. The thesis explains the impact of low prices of air tickets on services provided by low fare airlines. There is also a comparison of the air ticket prices and other fares among various airlines on selected route as well as reference to some failed and discontinued projects.

The thesis describes the most important facts of history and present standing of aviation transport. The main part of the thesis is focused on low-cost airlines, their history, business concept, benefits/disadvantages, standing and their perspective on development in Czech and European market of aviation transport. The low-cost airlines are compared with major airlines.
