The aim of this paper is to provide a new information about visitors of the Malá Fatra National park, Slovakia. The knowledge of visitor profile of the area is essential for nature conservation and sustainable development of tourism. The method used to provide the data was a survey. The data was collected through a questionnaire, which was created in three langure versions. The target group for surveying were tourists in Malá Fatra National park, on specified locations intensively used by tourists. The surveys were conducted during two periods - in 2014 and 2015.
Botanical survey of a restored segment of the Hučina stream (Černý Kříž, Šumava)

The aim of this thesis is to make a survey of vegetation present on permanent plots in the restored flood plain of the Hučina stream. Another a im is to compare the results with the results of Lazárková (2012), who studied the area before the restoration. The thesis includes also a herbarium and photo-herbarium demonstrating traits of the plant species. The study was conducted on 26 permanent plots laid on three transects. Permanent plots occurred in grasslandareas, in a woodyareas and the streambed. I created a list of all plant species and their abundances on each plot, separately for the moss, herb, bush and tree layers. . Overall, 48 plant species were found.

This diploma thesis deals with economical analysis the Administration of National Park Podyjí as governmental organization established by the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic. The part of analysis is comparison with other national park which represents the Administration of the National Park České Švýcarsko, as a governmental department. Economic analysis of investigated subjects was focused on financial statement (statement of profits and losses) and selected economic indicators. The analysis was running in years 2008 -- 2012. In the diploma thesis were used basic characteristics of the time series (simple arithmetic mean, mean absolute increase, the growth rate and the average growth rate). The goal of the diploma thesis is evaluate and compare selected economic indicators of national parks.
Diverzita vybraných skupin obratlovců (Vertebrata) v Národním parku Podyjí

Main goal of this thesis, named "Diversity of selected groups of vertebrates (Vertebrata) in the National Park Podyjí" was to detect and research the existence of animal species in the area of individual biotope. There are 8 groups of biotopes in this area. The goal was to focus on the species that ranked amongst the endangered, highly endangered or critically endangered, according to the Ministry of Environment. There are also many plant communities besides the animal species, which are also part of the reason for its protection. This thesis is concentrating only on the vertebrates groups, which are not as profusely present as the invertebrates groups, but were a lot more thoroughly researched. The thesis is also focusing on anthropogenic activities, that are affecting individual biotopes.

It mentions the state of nature and landscape in the Czech Republic and describes the development history of the protection of nature and it analyzes fundamental principles of nature and landscape in the Czech Republic and compares it with other countries. It also describes the legislative instruments of the Czech Republic in the protection of nature and landscape. The bachelor thesis describes some of the international agreements on the environment.

The main aim of this thesis was to compare the quality of life in three villages near to the town of Susice. One lying inside the national park Šumava, the latter lying in the protected landscape area Šumava and the third municipality located in the territory without special conservation. The theoretical part consists of facts from the literature on protected areas, especially national park and protected landscape areas and quality of life. The practical part of the objective was to compare the data selected villages a questionnaire aimed at residents view the presence of the village in a conservation area.

Economic connections of entrance fees introduction in the national parks of the Slovak republic

The diploma thesis deals with the implementation of entrance fee to national parks in Slovakia. In the first part, it describes the entrance fee as an economic tool of environmental policy, considers its features and application. Thereafter, the organization and financing of nature protection in Slovakia is explained. From the presented analysis of revenues and expenditures it is obvious that the national park administrative units are exposed to the lack of financial resources. As a solution of this situation, the thesis suggests increasing of revenues by the implementation of the entrance fees. Subsequently, each Slovak national park is characterised. The aim of the thesis is a proposal of the entrance fees system in Slovak national parks, which is divided into particular steps. The activities concerning the collection of the fees are preceded by rearranging the ownership relations and adjustment of legislation. The next steps of the proposal deal with the way of fees collection, the extent of the fees and with potential revenues for the national park administration that would be generated by the fees. The final steps of the proposal consider control together with modification of the entrance fees collecting system and its potential expanding.
Analysis of interactions between trees in mixed oak forests in NP Jirisan (South Korea) using spatial structure and tree ring analysis.

This thesis represents a grant application for a project dealing with analysis of interactions between trees in mixed oak forests in NP Jirisan (South Korea). Spatial structure data and tree ring analysis data from 5 experimental plots of this national park are used in this analysis.
