Optimization of the reverse logistics system for beverage packaging in the Czech Republic

The thesis deals with the System of reverse logistics of beverage packaging in the Czech Republic. In the first part, the author of the thesis deals with the theoretical background and clarification of concepts related to the topic. The practical part compares the systems of reverse logistics of beverage packaging in selected countries with the Czech Republic, the attitude of Mattoni towards the advance system and an analysis of the impact of the advance system on selected municipalities. Using the research methods that the author used in the thesis, the optimization of the reverse logistics system for the Czech Republic is finally proposed.

Regulation of Depository-Refund System for Beverage Containers

Regulation of Depository-Refund System for Beverage Containers Abstract This thesis focuses on depository-refund systems for beverage containers as an instrument to improve sorting of the plastic waste. In broader perspective, the plastic waste is nowadays a serious issue, not only in the Czech Republic, but also globally. Depository-refund system is an effective economic tool for environmental protection and its implementation for plastic bottles can help to tackle the increasing amount of the plastic waste. It is analyzed whether the depository-refund system for one-way beverage containers complies with principles of the circular economy and the principles of the environmental protection. The thesis describes the current status of the legislation in the Czech Republic which concerns the depository-refund system of reusable glass beverage containers. Most importantly, the thesis proposes to implement a similar regulation for one-way beverage containers (plastic and metal) in order to protect the environment from the plastic waste and to comply with goals for waste sorting set out by the European Union. The sources of inspiration for the new legislation are some member states of the European Union - Slovakia, Germany, Sweden and Croatia. Possible applications of green logistics principles in a chosen logistic chain

The aim of this thesis was to propose a system in which green logistics principles would be applied within supply chain for containers which are used for ambulant sale of drinks with the aim of decreasing the impact of logistics processes on the environment. Systems of disposable cups, beer mugs and washable cups were compared. From the long term point of view system of washable cups is the cheapest and creates the least volume of trash.

Nápojové obaly

Cílem bakalářské práce je analýza spokojenosti spotřebitelů s obaly na mléko. Provedený vlastní výzkum zjistil, že nejoblíbenějším obalem na mléko je nápojový karton, na druhém místě je sklo a třetí pozice patří plastu. V oblasti obalů je zapotřebí neustálého zlepšování, a to jak ze strany výrobců, tak i v chování spotřebitelů. V závěru jsou tedy uvedeny návrhy na zlepšení.
