Development of Musical Appreciaton by Younger Schoolars in leisure activities

This diploma thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part contains the characteristics of school age, basic physiology of hearing and voice, describes the development of musical abilities and their classification. It also defines the basic concepts of music psychology, describes some of the basic methodology of music education and addresses issues of motivation at school. The practical part consists of a project for school clubs on "Round the world journey". The project focuses on developing musical skills and abilities through play, building positive relationships within the group and learning about the culture of other nations.
The importance of leisure activities for preschool and school age from various ethnic communities.

Multicultural education is a current topic of our education. The current stage in the transformation of our educational system puts in their curriculum framework for preschool education and curriculum framework for basic education emphasis. The theoretical part sets based on the literature and concepts of multiculturalism and multicultural education suggests the possibilities for leisure activities it offers. Furthermore, the main features are characterized by leisure activities. In the practical part is mapped to spend their free time children from different ethnic groups and whether the way they spend in these different groups of children. It is found, what are the benefits of leisure activities to improve their socialization. Findings from research can be used to think parents over their children's leisure time and the different possibilities of how to make better use of leisure time.
Possibilities of leisure-time activities at work with cross-sectional themes at the first stage of a primary school

The thesis is written about the possibilities of leisure-time activities at work with cross-sectional themes at the first stage of a primary school. The thesis is aimed to capture the experience of teachers in integrating cross-sectional themes and making up a five-day program. Teoretical part is defined basic terms of the general educational program and cross-sectional themes and are characterized by leisure-time activities. Outlines the procedures how cross-sectional themes are adapated into the school educational programs. Joining between cross-sectional themes and leisure-time activities, pointing out possibilities of leasure-time activities offering goals for fulfilling the content cross-sectional themes issues in education. The practical part is find out the situation of the integration of cross-sectional themes helped by questionnaire methods at primary schools. The focus of this thesis is to prepare a five-day program of leisure activities with a focus on multicultural education.
Cross - curricular Themes at Middle School Level

Practical part includes the survey of teachers at elementary schools in reference to their work on the school curriculum for basic education and cross-curricular themes. Diploma thesis also includes suggestion of several lessons which can be used for multicultural education.
The Ethical Heritage of The Holocaust Education in Projects of KreBul o.s.

Thesis concerns about ethical heritage of the holocaust education in projects which are realized by KreBul, o.s. In theoretical part, the multicultural education and of present world was chracterized as a world of meeting different cultures; it is focused on the issue of the Jewish genocide in World War II. In the second stage of theoretical part, there are introduced particular activities of KreBul, o.s., which are oriented on the holocaust education in the spirit of multicultural enlightenment. Perception and understanding of events linked with the holocaust with a focus on the classification of lectural activities is considered in practical part of the thesis. Viewpoint of young people on the theme of the holocaust is gained by interpretation and analysis of individual answers of respondents; particulary the ethical viewpoint on education about events from the end of World War II and perception of some ethical categories (evil, suffering).
Foreknowledge of Basic Schools´ Teachers about Multicultural Education as a part of Integration

The aim of this bachelor work is one of the possible points of view how to approach to Multiculturl Education in the Czech pedagogical society. Changes in the Czech republic after 1989 lead to the political changes and mainly to the social changes. It was first time we start to talk about the culture and lifestyle of ethnic minorities in the Czech republic. One of the main elements how to change future is Multicultural Education. The change in this perception is a new school law including this kind of education. This research has shown that there is a lack of awareness of Multikultura Education. Neither the teachers at schools nor the students at Pedagogical Faculties is well {--} informed about this kind of education. In fact, teachers are not enthused by any changes. For this reason, universities are unable to induce their students to solve the problem.
Multicultural Education in Kindergarten

The document disserts on multi-cultural issues in a present kindergarten. Theoretical part engages in multi-cultural education and its particularity, as well about the role of multi-cultural education in the school system legislation. Additionaly it also deals with the race prejudice and its prevention and last but not least about the multi-cultural communication and issues related to foreign child accommodation into a common nursery school class. The subject of the practical part of this work is a questionary, which investigate with mutual coexistence of a child of foreign nationality with Czech children from the perspective of both. The results are taken into account of the multi-cultural education project for a nursery school. The videorecording preview of the project implementation is a part of this work as well.

Multicultural society in the countries and regions of the Czech Republic

This thesis describes individual national minorities living on the territory of Czech Republic, under which conditions they can enter the Czech territory and live here and integration process of minorities to the Czech majority society. Each of those minority groups is characteristic by different values, culture, language, color of the skin, religion, and lifestyle and by the ability to adapt new world for them. This integration process is a long-term process and depends also on the Czech society, how those minorities will identify with Czech territory. Already on elementary schools students are getting to know variety of cultures through multicultural education that is trying to build a sense for respecting different cultures and esprit de corps in them. Citizens of Czech society living in abroad are finding a support in allowance organizations called Czech centers, which work also for representing Czech Republic in a lot of countries.
