Moral profile of a social worker as a prerequisite for the quality of social work

The diploma thesis focuses on the core and issues related to the work of a social worker and it strives to evaluate the essence of their moral profile. Based on that, it was necessary to define the terms of social work and thus state that a social worker must have a whole range of knowledge, abilities and skills. These include so-called soft skills such as empathy, the ability to listen, the ability to solve conflicts, communication skills. The personal value ladder, characteristics, life views and experience and many others determine the social worker´s approach towards their clients. In the next part I was dealing with ethical dilemmas the social worker faces and they are trying to manage via specific types of approach. The main objective of this thesis was to uncover what kinds of ethically dilemmatic situations the social workers may encounter and what strategies they choose to use in order to manage them.

Ethical aspects of intercultural phenomenon of Czech Republic inbound tourism focused on Russian tourists

1 ABSTRACT This analytical-empiric study presents ethical aspects of the intercultural phenomenon in inbound tourism of Czech Republic focused on Russian tourists mapping topic which hasn't been covered in such a wide scope yet. The multicultural and intercultural definition of the words is described in great depth in the theoretical part of the of this study as the terminology is strongly ambiguous. The special attention is not only paid to the interests and preferences of the tourists but also to the history especially aimed to so-called "Russian soul" and delimitation of the position "we" and "they" and "they" and "we". The data, collected by quantitative and qualitative author's research, complete and penetrate the whole theoretical frame of the study. The research part contains quantitative (24 subjects) and qualitative (2 respondents) research. It detects ethic dilemma and presents the specifics of the Russian tourists in inbound tourism of Czech Republic. We present the result as a substantiated constatation that the category "they" has a lot of prejudice from both sides and it causes unpleasant conflicts which can be prevented when the knowledge of when and how the prejudice was created is in place. Code of Ethics of the selected company

This bachelor thesis deals with the description of the AspectWorks, s.r.o. company and with the development of the Code of Ethics. The purpose of the thesis is to draw up the Code of Ethics so that the company could implement it into their corporate strategy and use it for their internal and external use. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical one and practical one. The theoretical part focuses on the terms such as ethics, morale, corporate ethics and describes how the Code of Ethics should look like. The practical part starts with the description of the history of AspectWorks, s.r.o. Furthermore, this chapter describes the services which are provided by AspectWorks, s.r.o. and stakeholders of this company. The conclusion of the thesis is the newly created Code of Ethics and the confrontation of the content of the Code of Ethics with the real behaviour of employees of the company.

Professional Reflections by the CR Police Officers in Týn nad Vltavou

The objective of this bachelor thesis is to find out how police officers serving at the district department in Týn nad Vltavou perceive their occupation in which they sometimes find themselves on a daily basis in conflicting roles of a policeman versus a friend, an acquaintance or a family member. The work aims to map the problems seen by the Týn police officers as crucial for the exercise of their profession. The thesis can serve to the executive workers of similarly big or smaller district departments to improve the work environment and strengthen the work conditions that are favourable for police officers. The findings can also be used by top managers of the Police of the Czech Republic as an incentive to change the conditions of the career growth.

T. G. Masaryk and The Czechoslovak Church

This Master´s work deals with the relation of T. G. Masaryk and The Czechoslovak Church. The goal is to give reasons why Masaryk has never entered the Church despite the Church highly recognized his ideas and was based on many of them. The output of this work is supposed to be mostly the analysis of Masaryk´s texts besides the biographical texts and the written texts dedicated to the Czechoslovak Church. This work can be divided into three main parts. The first part follows Masaryk´s religious development. The second part comprises his opinions on particular religions issues. The third part introduces the basic information about the Czechoslovak Church and the last, fourth handles especially Masaryk´s attitude to the Church.

Ethics and morality in selected organizations

The aim of this thesis is to contribute to the view that the business environment does not affect the outcome of a business organization or operation of political institutions, but that is a result of involvement of each of us. But it is not any involvement. This involvement must be based on morality, expertise and leadership. In summary, the application of ethics in management at all organizational levels of business, public and administrative organizations. For my research, I chose four transport companies. Three of them are Czech owners, one Austrian. I created a questionnaire that was given to employees. In the first part of bachelor thesis I summarized the theoretical information about ethics and morality. The methodology is described questionnaire method and form of the interview, which was used for the investigation. In the next chapter evaluates issues. Each answer is evaluated in the chart, followed by a discussion on the issue. The main instrument for the application of ethics in the business seems to be a code of ethics. Companies having an effective and efficient code can appreciate the benefits. Detailed Code provides accurate and useful guide to everyday decision.

Is Politeness (Moral treatment) a weakness? ( A genesis of the positive treatment in the societ)

ABSTRACT In the presented bachelor theses, I concentrated myself on the conception of the morale behavior (generally understood as a proper behavior) in the society and its progress from the historical point of view (aiming to a morale ideal). But I also focused my attention on the present state of the given problem {--} i.e. on the conception of the ethics in the contemporary ``postmodern{\crqq} society with its consumer manner of life. Further, I concentrated myself on the individual (pragmatical) morality and its negative influence on forming of the ethic behavior. It means, what the present society considers as a moral behavior and what is considered to be an immoral behavior, and how the conception and understanding of the morality in the society has been changed. The theses is divided into two parts. The theoretical part of the theses deals with the explication of the terms ethics and morality, with a brief characteristic of individual theories explaining (describing) the moral development of the individual (personality), with the basic psychology of the pubescence time period and of the moral development in course of this time of the human life (i.e. adolescence). The main aim of the practical part of the theses was to find out the approach of the students of Gymnasium (young people) to the morale and to the morale behavior in the society. Further, the purpose was also to find out, what kind of behavior is still considered to be morale and what immoral. As for the data collection concerning the elaboration of the practical part of the bachelor theses, the quantitative questioning method and the technics of the questioning investigation (questionary) were used. For the purpose of the questioning investigation, an anonymous questionary of own construction was used. Closed questions were used first of all, where the respondents had the possibility of indicating only one answer corresponding with their personal opinion utmost. The elaborated questionary was presented to the students of the first and fourth classes of Gymnasium in Písek. The opinion level was evaluated individually with both age categories and than the comparison of the opinion levels of both these groups was carried out. Before opening the research itself, 4 work hypotheses have been chosen (1 main hypothesis and three other partial hypotheses). The information from the questionary was worked out manually by means of the bar code method. The graphic presentation of the results from the questionary was made by means of column graphs in the programme Microsoft Office Excel. In the discussion, the results are compared with the professional literature and the work hypotheses are evaluated. In the end, own opinion on the given problems and the possibilities of the utilization of this work in the practice are presented. After evaluating the results gained from the questionary investigation, I found out, that the predefined main hypothesis has not been certified. The students of Gymnasium in Písek do not consider the proper behavior (morale) to be an expression of some weakness. Both age categories agree on this conclusion. The results of this bachelor theses should serve for information of both the general and the professional public about opinions of a certain pattern of the young generation of the propriety (morale behavior) on interpersonal relation.
