LEISURE ACTIVITIES ON SELECTED MONUMENT BUILDINGS ADMINISTRATED BY THE NATIONAL MONUMENT INSTITUTE, TERRITORIAL MONUMENT ADMINISTRATION IN ČESKÉ BUDĚJOVICE

The thesis recapitulates leisure-time activities on selected historic sites administered by the National Heritage Institute, Regional Historic Sites Management in České Budějovice. It describes the life in three different types of historic residences - Švihov Castle, Kladruby Monastery and Manětín Mansion, concisely summing up their history. Suggestions concerning the particular general plans for spending leisure time on the mentioned sites are contained in a separate chapter. The final specific project offers a solution to the guided sight-seeing tour of Švihov Castle.
Comparative study: Economies of Obazine and Plasy Monasteries in the Middle -ages (12.-13. century)

The thesis focuses on the economy of the Cistercian Order, from its inception until the end of the 13th century. There are two parallel analysis of monasteries Obazine (France) and Plasy (Bohemia), which are compared in the final part of the research. First the study present foundation of monasteries in the historical context of the country and the region. Then he focuses on the process of acquiring property and attempts to reveal common and different features in the economic development of the courts and farming. The work may present the real situation only to the extent that it allows the historical sources. The main historical source is cartulary of Obazine and documents of Plasy from Codex diplomaticus et epistolaris regni Bohemiae. In addition, the study draws information from various foreign and czech literature.
Early Buddhist Cosmology of the Pali canon

This paper is focused on the early Buddhist cosmology. It briefly presents the general concepts of cosmology in Buddhism and the Pali Canon in order to better emphasize the characteristics of the primary text on which the work is based, namely the Agaññasutta of the Pali canon. The author takes into account other suttas of the Pali canon and secondary literature as well. The Agaññasutta represents one of the first cosmological texts of Buddhism and can therefore be considered as a very valuable source of information about the early cosmological ideas and the context in which these ideas were formed. It deals with the destruction of the world, its re-emergence, the emergence of creatures, human beings and social strata, the election of the first king and the establishment of the ascetic social groups. To gain a better orientation in the source material, the plot can be divided into the period until the development of human beings, the creation of social institutions with the election of the king and the emergence of alternative social institutions headed by a Buddhist monk. This bachelor's thesis answers the question, if monastery, which is located on territory of municipalities, affects somehow religiosity of inhabitants. First chapter (Introduction) defines object and hypotheses of thesis. Second chapter is given to processing methods of thesis. Third chapter contains the most important literature used in thesis, also definition of concepts and theoretic outline of the problem. Fourth chapter describes evolution of religion and changes in religiosity in Bohemia. Fifth chapter works with statistics and looks for possible influence in chosen municipalities. Sixth chapter summarizes all the knowledge and proves or disproves set hypotheses. Last chapter finishes the thesis. Thesis also contains statistical table, graphs and maps.
