Preference of fermented dairy products in selected groups of consumers

The aim of the diploma thesis was to assess the influence of selected demographic factors on the preferences of fermented dairy products. For this purpose, a question-naire survey was created, which was attended by 278 respondents (128 men and 150 women). The questionnaire survey revealed that the most frequently consumed prod-ucts are semi-hard and natural cheeses and yoghurts, while the most popular yoghurt is classic white yoghurt with more than 3% fat. The group of older respondents pre-ferred semi-fat cheeses, while the fatness of the cheeses was not essential for the group of younger respondents. The most preferred dairy company was Madeta (50% of respondents). When choosing a product, consumers were most often influenced by price and flavour, while the price influenced more men, and the flavour influenced more women. The results of the diploma thesis can be beneficial for better infor-mation about the frequency of consumption and preference of fermented dairy prod-ucts among Czech consumers.
Financial Analysis and Financial Plan of the company Mlékárna Valašské Meziříčí, spol. s r. o.

This bachelor thesis's goal is to conduct a financial analysis of the company Mlékárna Valašské Meziříčí, spol. s r. o. for the period 2011-2015 and forecast its financial results for 2016. With this intention, the thesis contains several chapters. To begin with, the methodical part explains ratios and other methods used to perform the financial analysis. Next, the practical chapter consists of vertical and horizontal analysis, analysis of financial ratios, creditworthy and bankruptcy models and also subchapter with forecasted dairy processor's results for 2016. The sources for this thesis are public year-ending financial statements, annual reports, company's webpage etc.
Systems of milk quality control in the Czech Republic

This thesis was focused on mapping the situation of the milk quality control systems in the Czech Republic (European Union) and the assessment of problems of milk quality control from the point of view of realization but also of consumer protection from products that are harmful to health. The theoretical part focused on control systems in agricultural companies intended for milk production, in the process of milk collection and in dairies. The second part focused on the evaluation of information obtained from a questionnaire survey of dairy farmers, dairies and milk consumers.
Price development of milk and milk products

The main aim of this bachelor´s work was describe and evaluate the price trend of milk and milk product over the past decade in the Czech Republic and European Union. In the first part of this thesis are theoretical knowledge from the sphere of price (above all: the definition of price, pricing methods and factors that influence the price level). In the second part is first detected the development of agriculture (average numbers of dairy cows, average annual milk yield ...) and then evaluated the price evolution of farm prices. And in each year since 2000 to the present. Another section shows the development of the dairy industry and followed by a description of the development of industrial and consumer prices. As a last point is characteristic of the state of agriculture and dairy industry in the European Union, and price developments in individual European dairy companies.
