This bachelor's thesis describes the procedures for making a 3D model of microscopic structure of wood. Samples were taken from representatives of coniferous, ring porous, diffuse porous and semi diffuse porous wood from Czech Republic. The thesis includes the issue of suitable deposition of the 3D image, the determination of the threshold parameter analysis, segmentation and registration algorithms in programme Wood3D. Another objective is to show morphological changes obtained by visualization of 3D structures in different positions of the trunk.
