Artificial Intelligence and Industry 4.0
Hirsch, Radim ; Kroupa, Jiří (referee) ; Kovář, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this work is to provide an overview of the application of artificial intelligence methods in the context of Industry 4.0. The first chapter defines the concept of industry 4.0, previous development of the industry and inclusion of the scientific field of artificial intelligence in this concept. The second chapter is focused on the applications of artificial intelligence methods in the field of machining, manufacturing industry, automation and energetics. The work concludes with evaluation of methods, their advantages and disadvantages from the point of view of individual practical applications and mentions possible directions of future development.
Part production technology
Uličný, Roman ; Polzer, Aleš (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
This work deals with the production technology of the plastic part for battery modules. First chapter contains analyzis of fundamental methods of machining, where are general informations about technologies which are used in the company with which one is work cooperated. In the second chapter is solved description of manufactured part and its technological aspects for the production. Next chapter is dedicated for introducing the company and its technological possibilities for the manufacturing. The rest part of the work is dedicated for designing production of the semi-finished product and clamping of the semi-finished product. With the selected variant is solved production technology of the part, where are indicated technological solutions of each operations and production process. In the end is realized technological-economic valorization, where is solved service of more machines and judged cost for production of designed variants.
Effective machining of advanced structural ceramics
Jurán, Antonín ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Humár, Anton (advisor)
The objective of this diploma thesis are new design materials in a view of their structure, properties, manufacture, partitions, applications and possibili-ties of effective machining them Ceramics are used in the field of design applications more often than before. They are in form of compact parts and in form of thin coatings on the surface of metal parts. Fast development of constructive applications requires the same progress rate of machining ma-chines innovations and development of new methods of effective machining these materials, too. The aim is to produce parts of demanded shapes, dimensions and surface quality at affordable costs. Ceramics guarantee long terming durability and reliability. The evaluation of ceramics grinding tests from the point of view of cutting forces and surface quality of the machined faces are presented in the last part of the diploma thesis.
Cutting and non-cutting operations
Morcinek, David ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Dvořák, Jaromír (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the study and description of fundamental concepts of cutting and non-cutting machining within the field of engineering technology. The work provides a general overview of individual methods of cutting and non-cutting machining, including their principles and applications. Specific technologies of cutting and non-cutting machining are selected and applied to a chosen component within the thesis. Emphasis is placed on the study and description of specific application areas for both methods, encompassing their advantages, limitations, and contributions to specific manufacturing processes.

Návrh nábytkového prvku bez kovových a lepených spojů
Dias, Jiří
The aim of this work was to design a furniture element without metal and glued joints. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the first part is the characterization of materials and their processing methods, where the work is dedicated to the conventional method CNC and mostly unconventional technology of 3D printing. The research of constructional solutions of furniture was created afterwards. No glue, nor any metal components was used. The final phase of this work is to design own original constructional solution, which is applied to the storage furniture element - shelving system.
