Social work with the child, in the divorce proceedings of the parents, from the point of view of OSPOD

The final thesis deals with the issue of "Social work with the child in the divorce proceedings of the parents from the point of view of OSPOD". After defining basic concepts such as family, marriage, divorce and social work with a minor child, the types of divorce proceedings and the role of the minor child in this process are specified here. What is decisive here is the approximation of social work with the child in the divorce proceedings of the parents, especially from the point of view of the position of the social worker at OSPOD. This also includes the introduction of individual techniques and methods that a social worker can use in his position. Part of the thesis is the presentation of the conducted qualitative research in the form of a semi-structured interview with social workers at the OSPOD, who carry out collision guardianship of minor children in the divorce proceedings of the parents. The research focuses on the evaluation of methodological recommendations in relation to practice, as far as they are beneficial for improving the quality of practice.
Pupils with different mother tongue and history teaching

The thesis deals with the issue of pupils with a different mother tongue and the difficulties they face in learning history. The theoretical part includes topics that affect pupils with different mother tongue in teaching, such as the legislation of the Czech Republic, the number of pupils with a different mother tongue in Czech Republic in terms of nationality, the current state of knowledge in the field of education of pupils with different mother tongue in the field of history. I also deal with the teaching subject of history and its specifics with regard to the given issue. The practical part includes a questionnaire survey among history teachers, which maps their experiences of teaching pupils with different mother tongue. The main focus of the practical part is a qualitative investigation among several history teachers and their pupils, conducted through interviews. The paper concludes with methodological recommendations for history teachers when working with pupils with different mother tongue. This diploma thesis deals with forthcoming integrated instruments designed for 2014-2020 programming period and also with evaluation of the Integrated city development plan operation, as an integrated instrument used in 2007-2013 programming period. In theoretical part author focuses on basic prerequisites for using new integrated instru-ments, especially on the upcoming instrument Integrated territory development plan, as well as on major differences compared to the past programming period. In practical part of this thesis were determined methodical recommendations for the Integrated territory development plan, which are based on knowledge of the Integrated city development plan project processing analysis, so the proper and effective using of the European structural and investment funds could be assured in 2014-2020 programming period.
Educational activities increasing financial literacy for upper primary school

This bachelor's thesis focuses on problems of teaching financial literacy at the second grade of elementary school. It is primarily intended for teachers who look for inspiration for teaching financial literacy. The thesis is based on documents called Standard of the financial literacy for elementary education from 2017 and General education program for elementary education from 2021. Activities are based on recommendations described in a document Methodical recommendation for teaching financial literacy from 2013. The thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is focused on defining basic terms and who should be educated in financial literacy. There is also defined what should be taught in financial literacy at the second grade of elementary school and how it should be taught. The practical part contains seven activities which were created according to documents described in the theoretical part. Activities are focused on various parts of a document called General education program for elementary education from 2021 and they are trying to cover as much of the curriculum as possible.
Using the CLIL method for preparation of selected topics from Human Physiology at lower-secondary level

Diploma thesis deals with the use of the CLIL method in biology lessons and its using for preparation of selected topics from Human Biology at lower-secondary level. The aim of the thesis was to study Czech and foreign literature which is concentrated on CLIL method and its integration into the Biology teaching, further was described the characteristics of this teaching method and were included the concrete examples of using this method in teaching lessons. The main aim of the thesis was to design and verify two teaching units in the field of Human Biology teaching at lower-secondary level. Within each teaching unit students solved a practical task from Biology, and they also acquired knowledge and vocabulary related to a concrete topic. Based on the verification of teaching units in practice was developed methodical recommendations for teachers interested in introducing the CLIL method into their lessons. The analysis of the pupil's worksheets showed that pupils were able to do most of the tasks on their own however certain activities caused problems to them and therefore was needed more guidance from the teacher. The instructions of some activities were necessary to repeat several times due to elimination of possible mistakes in pupil's worksheets. Observing the experimental teaching it was found out that the majority of students did not have difficulty to communicate in English about issues related to selected biological topics and the foreign language was not an obstacle for them in understanding the content of the subject. The important information was told in the mother tongue because of the less language-skilled pupils.
