Comparison of motivation and mental condition between able-bodied table tennis players and "standing" table tennis players with a disability

Title: Comparison of motivation and mental conditions between able-bodied table tennis players and "standing" table tennis players with a disability Objectives: The aim of this work is to compare differences in perception of motivation and mental conditions before the match, during the match and after the match between able-bodied table tennis players and "standing" table tennis players with a physical disability. Methods: In our thesis we used a method of qualitative research which we applied using an online non-standardized questionnaire with closed answers. The questionnaire was running for 7 days and respondents were addressed individually, either by phone or email address and social network site call Facebook. We managed to get answers from of 41 respondents, actually 20 from intact players and 21 from the disabled ("standing") players. Results: We determined that both target groups have different perceptions of motivation and mental conditions. Though in some cases, their responses are identical or similar, so even though the monitored factor in most of cases are different. E.g. 40/41 respondents answered that they are motivated by intrinsic motivation to play table tennis. Target group of intact players prefers social prestige, on the other hand the second target group of disabled...
