3D printed antenna with dielectric lens for free-space material characterization method
Horník, Milan ; Láčík, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kaděra, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the free space setup for material permittivity characterization. The workplace includes two horn antennas, two dielectric lenses and sample holder. The work deals with the characteristic properties of materials such as permittivity and permeability. Further, the methods used to determine permittivity are discussed. The next part of the work is focused on a theoretical analysis of the design of a broadband horn antenna with a dielectric lens. The chapter 3D printing and surface treatment deals with the issue of 3D printing and the possibility of applying a conductive layer on the plastic components. The following section presents the calculated and simulated results performed in CST Microwave Studio. In the next chapter, mechanical construction and measurement setup fabrication are discussed. In the end, the achieved results are evaluated.
Determinantion of size penetration of the zinc surface layer to the edge of part in dependence on use technology of production - laser cutting, punching
Klazar, Martin ; Žák, Ladislav (referee) ; Mrňa, Libor (advisor)
The project, developed under the terms of engineering studies of the M-STG Manufacturing Technology branch, presents the analytical assessment of the cutting surface of the metal sheet by two most commonly used modern technologies of cutting, which is the laser beam division and the exact cutting. The evaluation of this area was mainly focused on the level of the penetration of the zinc surface layer in the area of the given cutting. With the help of modern methods of electron microscopy, these values of penetration were then estabilished for each technology. The analysis itself was preceded by literary studies of all individual parts participating in this experiment.
Design of manufacturing technology for plastic car emblem
Bombera, Mojmír ; Krška, Petr (referee) ; Kandus, Bohumil (advisor)
The project elaborated in scope of engineering studies branch 2307. The project is submitting design of production technology of car emblem. Different manufacturing technologies have been compared based on study of technical literature. Most suitable technologies have been chosen such as pressure die casting, especially aluminum alloys and plastic injection molding. Plastic part is metal plated afterwards in order to get desired metal look. Part of this project is injection molding tool design inclusive technical, technological and economic analysis.
