Metabolický profil u dojnic plemene českého strakatého skotu v různých fázích laktace
LOUKOTOVÁ, Eliška
The study compared the metabolic profile of dairy cows depending on the lactation phase. Based on the results, possible metabolic risks were evaluated and the results were compared with the available literature.
Porovnání metabolického profilu u ovcí v závislosti na plemenné příslušnosti a věku
MÍKOVÁ, Eliška
Comparison of blood metabolic profile at sheep was the aim of my Bachelor Work. The breed and age were influenting factors. Hematological, biochemical and mineral parameters were followed. I recieved and evaluated blood samples of 13 females, 1 male and 20 lambs during 2021 - 19th April, 3rd May, 29th June and 22nd October. Getting results were compared with figures from world literature. No significant differences in physiological parameters were found at lambs of Suffolk and Šumavka breed whereas some light differences were found in number of leucocytes, lymphocytes and granulocytes. The changes of metabolic profile depend on the age of animals. Higher values in haemoglobin were measured in the collection on 22 October, leucocytes and urea, and thus seasonal effects were evident.
The level of energy metabolism of dairy cows and the composition of milk fat
KAUTSKÁ, Jitka
The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between the levels of energy metabolizm of high-yielding dairy cows and the amount of milk fat. Furthermore, the proportion and content of fatty acids in milk fat. The effect of antiketogenic prophylaxis of the monenzin-containing preparation was also evaluated, and the metabolic parameters were evaluated at the same time. The experiment took place in the breeding of high-yield dairy cows of the Holstein breed in the company Agropodnik Košetice a.s. s The average milk yield in breeding was 11,553 kg of milk in the observed period. The highest acid content was recorded in the first month of lactation and their content gradually decreased. Likewise, they had the highest proportion of short-chain saturated fatty acids (SAFA). The application of monenzin has a proven incidence of subclinical ketoses, both in first-calves and in cows for second and subsequent lactation. The reduction of ß- hydroxybutyric acid in blood and milk confirms the importance of the antiketogenic prophylaxis used.
Selected fabric metabolism parameters of dairy cows
KAŇKA, Vladimír
The aim of this study was to evaluate antiketogenic prophylaxis of the veterinary medicine Kexxtone, in breeding of Holstein cows, in the company Agrodam Hořepník, s.r.o. There were then evaluated the parameters of a metabolic state in the herd monitored. Furthermore I evaluated the milk yield, amount of fats, proteins, lactose and somatic cells in the milk during 100 days of lactation and subsequently, the level of pregnancy after the 1st and the 2nd insemination was evaluated. The observation took place from July 2014 to December 2014 in a way that every two months was selected 8 cows and 8 heifers with a similar calving date. After that they were split into two groups i.e. into the experimental group (the kexxtone medicine was used) and into the control one. These cows were bled and milked. Subsequently, those biological samples were sent to a laboratory to be diagnosed. The higher milk yield was found within the experimental group and so as the content of milk constituents, i.e. fats and proteins. A beneficial effect of this antiketogenic medicine on the amount of ketones in blood and milk of animals was also confirmed within the experimental group. There were not found any significant statistical differences in other monitored parameters.
The metabolic profile of the milch cow of holstein breed in the period of lactation
HORČIČKOVÁ, Michaela
Diploma work was concentrated on the evaluation of two metabolic profiles on the milch cows of Holstein breed on the basic of compilated nutritive rations for individual phases of lactation. The metabolic tests were evaluated in the milch cows in the period of making cow milk, the top of lactation and the second phase of lactation. The balance of nutriments was counted out in the nutritive rations. The haemotological and biochemical parameters, macromineral and urinary profiles were evaluated in the metabolic profiles. The work in the both metabolic profiles evidenced the reduced number of erythrocytes which can be connected with the occurence of anaemia. In the period of the top of lactation it is possible to speculate about an energetical deficit with regard to the low content of triacylglycerols. In the profile tests the presence of ketone bodies substances in urine was found out in the period of making cow milk. This finding connects with the negative energetic balance that occurrs in the course of the first two months after calving. Within of mineral profile an attention should be paid to especially the content of calcium, which was reduced in the both profiles. In comparison with the profiles perfomed in 2011 we find out that reached modifications of the nutrive ration and the increase in the content of main nutriments, which shoved in the milch cows by improvement of metabolic effects. Neverthless in breeding of the milch cows the increased emphasis should be put on the period of making cow milk and the recommendation for prevention from anaemia or other disorders is carrying out of the selective metabolic test.
