The content of this bachelor thesis is to present the mixing process and design of mixing vessels for the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, then to design mixing vessles from specified parameters. The stirrer is driven by an electric motor and can operate at variable speeds. The main calculations in the design are the calculation of the power input of the stirrer and the control of the stress on the stirrer shaft. The design is complemented by a CAD model and drawing documentation.

The bachelor thesis deals with the current technological process of the mechanical seal flange production. It contains an analysis of all tool and material equipment, the process itself and it describes selected cutting conditions and measuring aids. Variant production of technology is also characterized here, where the applied changes are described and explained in order to achieve lower costs from an economic point of view. Both variants are finally compared and evaluated.
