Materials for Securing Fixed and its Degradation
Pálka, Lukáš ; Molliková, Eva (referee) ; Němec, Karel (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis covers an overview of materials used for mountaineering fixed protection manufacturing (current and earlier used materials). It also deals with degradation processes found in fixed protection used in mountaineering practice. It quantifies basic degradation processes appearing on mountaineering routes of sport and also of alpine disposition. The thesis also takes in consideration specific damage, occurrence and extent of which is difficult to predict. Then it shows a need for further research of characters of real geological and climatic conditions and corresponding choice of suitable materials and establish a uniform procedure for detecting defects.
Zhodnocení zdravotního stavu a perspektivy výsadeb dřevin rostoucích u silnic II. a III. třídy, v okresech Hodonín a Břeclav
Prášek, Petr
Abstract The aim of the bachelor thesis was to evaluate the perspective of plantings along roads in order to find the cause of reducing the perspective of newly planted road alleys. Three sites with different conditions with different taxa were selected for the research. The dependence of perspective on the given conditions was investigated. Furthermore, the subsequent treatment of plantings was proposed to positively influence the perspective on the basis of the amended Tree Evaluation Standard. The results of the research showed that the prospect of new planting is poor. The reasons for the reduced perspective were determined as the absence of post-planting care, mechanical damage to the machine trunks and loss of planting due to theft. Another investigation of this survey was the financial demands of new plantings. Based on the findings of a reduced perspective, it was possible to determine the financial costs of green maintenance beyond standard care.

Evalutation of storage potato varieties Red Anna and Dali
BOŠKOVÁ, Veronika
The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to assess the storage of chosen potato varieties Red Anna and Dali depending on harvest time. Both varieties were grown in the fields near the village Chlumany (South Bohemia, District of Prachatice), then the tubers were stored in local storage facility and there the potato samples were also observed. The experiment was carried out in 2013-2014. The samples were taken as four variants of each variety. The variants differed in their harvest time. Tuber weight loss influenced by essential and pointless losses was monitored in each sample. It was confirmed that potato storage was influenced by suitable harvest time and partially also by the weather during the harvest. The worst result was shown by the first harvest of medium ripening variety Red Anna. The tubers were not ripe enough and completely unsuitable for a long-term storage. Those tubers were very shrunk already in December and therefore not usable for further processing. On the contrary, the last harvest of both potato varieties was the most convenient for storage. The samples taken from the last harvest showed the lowest loss during the storage and those potatoes were very nice while observed and measured for the last time. The bachelor's thesis also mentions important factors that can influence the storage of potatoes (temperature, relative humidity, ventilation, mechanically damaged tubers, potato diseases).
Effect of rock on land removal damage potato tubers at harvest.
KAKOS, Michal
The aim of this thesis is to describe and evaluate mechanical damage to tubers at harvest with different technologies for growing potatoes. The measuring of the work was carried on the field, where the field was divided into two field trials. For each try were described and measured property of the soil, seedlings, influence of climatic conditions, compared various technologies for growing potatoes and the mechanical demage of the tubers at harvest.
