Diagnostics of the perspective insulating liquids
Spohner, Milan ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
This work deals with the classification and diagnosis of electrical insulating liquids. Furthermore, the theoretical part describes the mathematical and physical principles of these liquids. The automated workplace was compiled with development environment VEE Pro for measurement of viskosity and control thermostat medingen and modifiable components for measuring complex permittivity in the frequency range. In the experimental part was carried out measurements of selected material parameters, investigated the effect of difficult conditions and made the mathematical evaluation of physical phenomena.
Analysis of the rheological properties of vegetable oils and their components
Divílek, Petr ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
This Master’s thesis is dealing with theoretical analysis of vegetable, mineral oils and synthetic fluids, and with measuring of density and viscosity of selected samples of electric insulating fluids. The main part of the thesis is focused on vegetable oils and their elements called fatty acids. Those are more detail described in separate capitols. In those capitols is described their utilization in engineering practice with focus on energetics, where vegetable oils are used in larger scale. In experimental part of the work is measurement of density and dynamic viscosity. Viscosity was measured on two different machines, first the Hoppler viscometer and on vibrating viscometer. Results of these measurement are evaluated in tables and graphs.
Vegetable Oils as Alternative Fuel
Ježek, Přemysl ; Svída, David (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
Presented thesis applies to possible solutions of the reduction of environmental pollution - use vegetable oil as diesel engine fuel. Thesis aims to describe important terms of this topic and to name facts linked with vegetable oils in use. In the end it tries to make a prognosis based on gathered information.
Alternativní paliva pro spalovací motory
Káňa, Jiří
This Bachelor Thesis on Alternative Fuels for Combustion Engines briefly discusses current and alternative fuels used in internal combustion engines. Initially, the development of the internal combustion engine is the present. It also discusses the advantages and disadvantages of fuels, their production and use, market introduction. In conclusion, it will evaluate the future use and direction of new biofuel production.
Základní fyzikální vlastnosti motorové nafty
Pištělka, Ondřej
In this bachelor's thesis, the substance known as diesel fuel is thoroughly described, and so are its physical properties. The history of diesel fuel, origin of crude oil and its mining and processing is described in first chapters. Afterwards, the diesel fuel is categorized and the categories are defined. An entire chapter is dedicated to diesel additives and biodiesel. In a review of relevant litarature, a chapter adressing current quality requirements of diesel fuel is found. Manipulation and transportation of diesel fuel is also adressed. The practical part consist of a characterization of tested fuel samples, a description of used equipment and methodics used in analyzing the captured data. The results are compiled into an table, which is easy to comprehend. The thesis is closed by discus-sion and analysis of those results.

Důsledky přijetí směrnice 2009/28/ES pro pěstování řepky olejné v ČR
Náplava, Radek
This paper examines the implications of the adoption of Directive 2009/28/EC on the selected indicators. The theoretical part aims to describe oilseed rape, biofuels and Directive 2009/28/EC. In the practical part, there are actual consequences of the adoption of Directive 2009/28/EC on selected indicators oilseed rape, FAME and size of sowing areas of selected food commodities. In addition, is studied the influence on food prices, food balance, the price of food commodities and import of food commodities. Based on the collected data, I came to the conclusion that the adoption of the Directive, except larger sown area of rape probably had no demon-strable effects on examined indicators.
Comparison of production and consumption of methyl ester of rapeseed oil in Central Europe.
Voborníková, Zuzana ; Sedláček, Jiří (advisor) ; Toužimský, Libor (referee)
In my work I deal with biofuels, especially with methyl ester of rapeseed oil (called RME). Why should be biofuels used as a substitute for oil. What materials are suitable for biofuel production. What are suitable procedures for their production. Comparison of production and consumption in Central Europe. Estimated development of future need for biofuels. The real contribution of RME to improving the environment.
