Automatic generation of typical schematics in CAD/CAE system
Fiala, Jan ; Kolář, Milan (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This thesis is devoted to the design of a functional solution for automated generation of type schemes based on defined input parameters of the considered structures. The first part of the thesis includes an introduction to design and basic design documentation standards, control systems with field instrumentation. Then it focuses on the selection of suitable CAD/CAE software with a more detailed description of the chosen software and some of its features. The practical part first introduces the generated parts and the modifications to the initial schematics and documentation required to support automated generation. The process is presented with the generation procedure using concrete examples of documentation. The output of the thesis is represented on two sample projects that includes generated schemas using the proposed methodology.
Swimming analysis using a SwIMU measuring device
Láznička, Jakub ; Šťastný, Jan (referee) ; Bátorová, Michaela (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the description of the inertial sensor for measuring swimmers. The work contains a description of the possibility of performing swimming performance analyzes. In the practical part, a pilot measurement was performed and a detailed manual was created containing a description of accessories, the measurement process and the methodology of subsequent evaluation. An external database in MS Excel was created to compare the evaluated measurements, used to sort data with the possibility of statistical processing.
Design of Steam Turbine Inquiry Tool
Suský, Martin ; Cimrák, Miroslav (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis focuses on the design of a demand tool for steam turbines manufactured in the company Siemens Energy, s.r.o., branch plant Industrial Turbomachinery in Brno. The tool is designed in Microsoft Excel using the Visual Basic for Applications programming language. In the theoretical part I deal with the explanation of basic information and principles about the programming language VBA and Microsoft Excel. The output of this bachelor thesis is a calculation tool.
Optimizing coaxial filters by Tuning-Space Mapping in CST
Wolanský, David ; Tkadlec, Roman (referee) ; Raida, Zbyněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with optimization of coaxial cavity filters. It thoroughly describes optimization method Tuning – Space Mapping (TSM) in CST Studio. It focuses on the explanation of the fine and the coarse model and their mutual link. The whole algorithm is illustrated and tested on the third-order coaxial cavity filter working in the band of 880 – 960MHz. In order to check the function of TSM, the algorithm is applied on fourth-order filter, triplet filter and quadruplet filter. Another part of the thesis focuses on the automatization of the whole optimization procedure. Macros for automatic determination of calibration constants and automatic calibration process between the coarse and the fine model are proposed and programmed in CST. The complete optimization procedure is applied on optimization of seventh-order filter with two cross couplings.
Library of building elements of coaxial filters for CST Microwave Studio
Vorek, Jiří ; Tkadlec, Roman (referee) ; Raida, Zbyněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with development of tool – macros which help to create coaxial cavity filters. It describes problematic design of complex structures at CST Studio Suite 2009. For this purpose macros supporting coarse and fine model to method Tuning – Space Mapping (TSM) was made. This means creating fine model at CST MWS and coarse model at CST DS.
Design of Software Support for Evaluation of Financial Situation in the PoS a.s.
Šikula, Pavel ; Dobiáš, Jaroslav (referee) ; Luhan, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with design of an application in MS Excel 2007 using macros and Visual Basic for Applications programming language for the Poličské strojírny a.s. financial analysis. Emphasis is placed on the import of data from main financial statements (balance sheet, profit and loss statement) and subsequent calculation of relevant financial indicators, their interpretation and graphic representation of their development in time. The proposed application will be used for strategic planning and its outcomes will be a part of the medium-term company conception.
Optimization of NC program using CAD/CAM software
Paseka, Jan ; Kaderka, Jaroslav (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
Tendency of this master thesis is a proposal of savings in the process of technological production’s preparation in a manufacturing company. In the first part is elaborated general theoretical study of current components and NC programs. Based on this, and finished analysis was defined optimization’s proposals described in second part. Thanks this complete proposals comes to time and money savings, which are needed for implementation of prototype project into serial production.
Design of Software For Calculation Indicators of Financial Analysis
Polášek, Petr ; Mrkvička, Stanislav (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
The topic of the Bachelor´s Thesis is using VBA as a utility for creating supporting company applications. The software for automatic calculation of financial indicators, which is presented there, is created on the basis of data exported from information system.
Automated machining in CAM systems
Jelínek, Tomáš ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Zouhar, Jan (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the possibilities of machining using CAM systems automation. For modeling components such as holders, clamps and sample parts was used software CATIA V5R20 by Dassault Systmes. These samples were subsequently used to demonstrate the automation capabilities in PowerMill Ultimate 2022 by Autodesk. The automation program is consists of created tool database, templates with machining strategy and developed macros. A technical and economic evaluation was performed by comparing programming times of the program with and without using of the created elements of automation.
