Adaptive Damping for Trucks
Neuman, Ondřej ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This diploma thesis is concerned with designing a computational model of a commercial vehicle. In addition to that, a control algorithm for adaptive damping is presented. These two parts are connected into a closed loop and together they create an adaptive damping system. The primary task of the algorithm is to react on a vehicle load change. Vehicle model has the opportunity to create different driving scenarios, which are used to verify algorithm functionality. With the help of computational model and optimalization process, suitable damping characteristics are derived. An evaluation of vehicle comfort and driving safety is also presented.
Synchronous generator in island operation
Juchelka, Roman ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
This thesis deals with the dynamic analysis of a synchronous generator in island operation. The analysis is based on the basis of the theory of generalized electric machine. First the mathematical description of the synchronous generator is converted from real quantities to the quantities d, q, 0 using Park's transformation. In the next part of thesis is done the analysis of voltage change dependent on the load change in MATLAB Simulink software. Universal models useful for analysis of various machines and various load changes and short-circuit faults simulation were created in this software. There is also mentioned the possibility of excitation of synchronous generator and the effect of damping winding on its operation.
