Flexible Load Balancer Using P4 Language
Šesták, Jindřich ; Fukač, Tomáš (referee) ; Martínek, Tomáš (advisor)
Currently servers of internet services are usually grouped together into clusters to provide sufficient performance to serve clients' queries. Each cluster needs Load Balancer, so it can choose one server which will process query from one client. For describing such device that processes packets is convenient to use P4 language. Within this work, the principles of load balancing, design, implementation and testing of a simple Load Balancer described in P4 language were demonstrated. The program is tested using Behavioral model of P4 language on a common processor and on the NFB-200G2QL card thanks to the Netcope environment from the CESNET association
Cloud Solution for 3D Models Processing
Klemens, Jakub ; Veľas, Martin (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with the possibilities of processing 3D models in cloud applications. A C++ library called Cloud3D has been designed and implemented. The resulting library is used to quickly create client-server applications. The library is divided into three separate parts: Client, Service Provider and Load Balancer. The service provider runs in the cloud and provides 3D model processing services to client applications. The biggest advantage of Cloud3D is the ease of creating new applications with its help. Other benefits include scalability, assured implementation of look-a-side Load Balancer, and security ensured by the use of SSL certification.

Analysis of power conditioning for AC traction feeding
Bejvl, Martin
This report analyses the possibilities of symmetrization and PFC in the 3-phase supply grid if a phase-to-phase RL load is connected between two phases, which is typical for an AC traction load. Two additional converters must be added to the RL load to provide required feature. The converters produce controlled currents and set up the so-called Delta connection with the LR load. The influence of the converter currents on the 3-phase supply currents are analysed. The obtained results are presented both in diagrams and equations.

Methodology of optimal usage of load balancing in data center environment
Nidl, Michal ; Gála, Libor (advisor) ; Hořejš, Jan (referee)
The following master thesis is focused on creation of methodology for optimal usage of load balancing in data center environment. Thesis is divided into eight chapters. The first chapter describes the reasons why to deal with this topic further. The second chapter summarizes the state of load balancing. This chapter is based on research of already elaborated thesis which were focused on load balancing in different ways. The third chapter summarizes load balancing including its key principles. The fourth chapter describes an actual state of load balancing in data center environment. An observation of real usage of load balancing in selected data center was used for the main purpose of this chapter. The fifth chapter consists of analysis of the currently existing methodologies which are used from the infrastructure projects purpose. The sixth chapter deals with creation of methodology for optimal usage of load balancing in data center. The seventh chapter evaluates usage of methodology by applying of this methodology to real practical example of implementation of load balancing. The eighth chapter summarizes all detected conclusions.
