Organic farming in the Czech Republic (geographic analysis)

The aim of this thesis is processing ÚZEI data for organic agricultural production in individual regions of the Czech Republic in the form of maps and graphs that provide a basic overview of the territorial deployment of crop and livestock production of organic farming. For crop production are given the following information: sown area in the conversion period and in the full organic mode, organic production and the average yield. Data of livestock in organic farming provide information about the numerical status of the individual categories of livestock. Part of the thesis is also devoted to the realization of crop and livestock organic products on the market in 2012. The thesis is part of the project Gaju 019/2013 / S.

Structure Of Organic Farming In South Bohemia

This thesis evaluates the structure of production in organic farming in the South Bohemia Region. It is divided into research, which includes agriculture and livestock components of organic farming and the practical part, where are the evaluated data obtained from databases ÚZEI, MA and the internal structure of the Faculty of Agriculture, specifically the Department of agro-ecosystems. The part of the research is divided into five main chapters. The introductory chapter describes the history of organic farming. The chapter Changes in the structure of agriculture, depictes conventional agriculture and an important evenst for the development of agriculture in the territory of the Czech Republic. The following chapter Specifications crop and livestock production enters up the main principles of organic farming. The next chapter describes the non-productive functions of agriculture, as soil protection, against erosion, etc. The search ends with the chapter titled The current structure, which depictes the current state of agriculture. In the practical part the structure of crop and livestock production in the South Bohemia and in the Czech republic. Region was investigated, which is subject of chapter five. It was being watched with the most common representation of animals, where in South Bohemia and the Czech Republic in organic farming predominates - cattle breeding suckler and sheep. In chapter five, is also disclosed the amount of produced milk and manufactured milk products. There was found representation of major crops and their individual income in the plant component , cereals dominate in South Bohemia and the Czech Republic . The work also focused on the representation of arable land and permanent grassland in South Bohemia and the Czech Republic.The practical part compares the data for South Bohemia with the data for the whole Czech Republic (eg. The percentage of plants on the entire arable land etc.).

Business in the organic agriculture in upland areas

The aim of this thesis was to assess business development opportunities in organic farming in selected enterprises in upland areas and a proposal how to improve its performance. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts of organic farming, the current status of organic agriculture, inspection and subsidies. Special attention is paid to the issue of calculation. The practical part deals with the analysis of structure of costs and incomes of livestock production and describes anomalies in the company during the monitored period. In conclusion, the thesis presents the main results of the solved problems and proposed recommendations how to improve the management of the analyzed company with regard to the welfare and business continuity.

Objects of livestock production in terms of ambient noise levels

This thesis deals with the evaluation of noise exposure in the agricultural cooperative Hosín ? Dobrejovice. The aim of this work was to measure noise levels in the dairy barn area and its surroundings, during these processes work: milking, feeding, removal of excrement, bedding etc. Measurements were carried out in summer and autumn. During the measurement noise was the largest source of agricultural equipment. The results revealed that noise pollution resulting from the operation of agricultural cooperatives Dobrejovice is fair and negative influence on noise pollution does not occur.

Simplex algorithm in projecting the production

The aim of this thesis was to apply the simplex algorithm in designing the production. Simplex algorithm was used in the case study, which focused on the farm with crop and livestock production. Production is made up of grown crops and livestock. Maximization objective function was formed to gain (or loss) on commodity production. The intention was to break down plant and animal production in order to get the most efficient way to use the area sown, which allowed me a case study.

Problematic Accounting Areas in Agriculture; Risks of Information Distortion in the Tax Return

The objective of this thesis is to point out the problematic accounting areas in agriculture as well as evaluating how this area is dealt with by the observed company. Two typical areas are specified ? vegetable production and livestock production. The first part of the thesis deals with possible ways of livestock production accounting in accordance with the Czech legislation. On the other hand, the outlook of international accounting standards is also outlined, seeing the animals as a biological asset with regard to their specific qualities. The practical part defines the farming business, which provided the necessary information in the areas of animal records and accounting. The attention is paid to purchasing the animals, finding out and accounting their growth, accounting their assignment to higher build categories, their writing off and discard. Another area the thesis deals with is the issue of subsidies. The theoretical part primarily outlines how different types of subsidies are accounted from the point of view of the Czech legislation as well as the international accounting standards. As far as the practical part is concerned, the subsidies used by the company are specified along with the procedure of their accounting. Furthermore, an in-house directive elaborated by request of the accounting entity is a part of this thesis. The in-house directive defines the area of stock, which the company wants to account directly into the consumption. Therefore the applicable regulations are mentioned and the essential directive is created on the pattern of in-house directives.
