The Naturalism in the Novels K. J. Šlejhar

The bachelor thesis deals with the reception of Šlejhar's stories, which are the prose Florian Bílek, mlynář z Byšic: příběhy z vesnického života and the short story collections Co život opomíjí and Z krajského města. The first part documents the primary reception, especially from published magazine critical texts from the period of Šlejhar's life and shortly after his death. The following section is focused on the secondary reception from years 1959 to 2008, which I draw mainly from literary historical books. In conclusion, I compare the reception from the transformation of points of view and emphasizing different aspects.

Media responses of literary works with the prison theme of Jiri Stransky

The bachelor diploma thesis "Media responses of literary works with the prison theme by Jiri Stransky" deals with literary works of Jiri Stransky which are influenced by his staying in Communist prison. The work deals with critical reviews of these literary works and with critical reviews on movies which are based on those literary works. It is based on contemporary reviews published in literary and other periodicals. A part of the bachelor diploma thesis is an interview with Jiri Stransky about literary criticism, circumstance and conditions of the origins of his works and about his other activities connected with his staying in Communist prison in the fifties. The interview is included in the annex. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of reviews is included in a practical part of the bachelor diploma. It is preceded by a theoretical part. In the theoretical part we shortly think about the importance of literary criticism but mostly important we explain the conditions that led to the creation of Stransky's work. Thanks documents from The National Archive and from The Archive of Security Forces we can now read about Stransky's arrest and the circimstances surrounding it as well as his 8 years long imprisonment.in Communist prisons of fifties in the bachelor diploma thesis. Media responses to the novel Žítkovské bohyně of Katerina Tuckova

This thesis called The media reactions to Katerina Tuckova's novel Zitkovske bohyne outlines the life and work of novelist Katerina Tuckova and analyses responses to her third novel. It deals with professional reviews as well as reader's reactions on servers and social networks. It also maps the work of Jiri Jilik who's topic is very similar and explores reactions to his publication Zitkovske carovani: The true story of zitkovske bohyne. We focus on the content similarities and relationship between those two pieces of work, also on the methods of work that the authors used. The thesis also analyses the circumstances of a dispute between Katerina Tuckova and Jiri Jilik and also between Katerina Tuckova and some inhabitants of Moravske Kopanice. We mostly think about the relationship between fictional and fact level of a historic novel. In the thesis not only we use the books of both authors but also interviews with Katerina Tuckova and articles from periodicals. The reviews are mostly from periodics Host, Tvar, Lidove noviny and MF Dnes. We also use interner servers dealing with this topic. In the theoretical part we derive from works od Jonathan Culler, Lubomir Dolezal, Pavel Janousek etc. The interview with Katerina Tuckova is attached.¨

This graduation thesis with title Interpretations of Josef Švejk in The Contexts of Czech and International Literary Science has an aim doucment and analyze interpretation models of Josef Švejk in the novel The Good Solider Švejk by Jaroslav Hašek. In base the materials gain the figure of Josef Švejk will be assess in context of Czech esthetic and ideal discourse. In graduation thesis will be put big emphasis on sence of language. From this reason is a part of this thesis dedicate to liguistic analysis.
