The bachelor thesis deals with creating a business plan to establish a new company for waste disposal. It includes theoretical background necessary for creating a business plan, which is then used in analytical part that includes market analysis and calculation necessary for creating financial plan. Proposal´s part includes the business plan based on the acquired data, which allows realization of the project and shows its rentability.

Odpadové hospodářství pevných odpadů v CHKO Moravský kras

This diploma thesis is about municipal waste management. There are involved villages, which are situated with their building area in CHKO Moravský kras. This diploma thesis is mainly about municipal solid waste management in CHKO Moravský kras, which is interpreted by collected information about individual municipalities. The most data were obtained from municipalities by own research. These data are used in the practical part of this thesis. The information about waste production were provided mainly by workers in The Department of the Environment Blansko and Šlapanice. It was also needed to obtain information about illegal dumping, during own research. The obtained data are processed and compared each other (per capita), in the practical part. The comparison is done by point graphs in time series and there is also used cluster analysis. There were suggested recommendations and some design waste management measures in the locality for municipalities, based on individual results and theoretical knowledge about a good examples from the practice.

Roberto Saviano's Gomorrah. Reality and fiction

This thesis focuses on the selected topics of Roberto Saviano's Gomorrah and it attempts to examine the way the author works with facts and how he presents them. In the introductory chapter I gave an outline of Saviano's work and of the general characteristics of his literary style, his processing of facts and work with them and the main topics of his writings. In the beginning of my thesis, I addressed the topic of a literary style called the New Journalism. I presented its main ideas, representatives, literary goals and the core points of its manifesto. When assessing Saviano's work in the context of New Journalism, I believe it is crutial to consider its objectivity, genuine capture of reality and its comprehensive approach to narration of facts with a literary language of aesthetic dimension. Saviano's only deflection from this style would be in his role of the narrator. New Journalism seeked to push the role of the narrator to the background or to have it absent altogether whereas Saviano often appears in his own plays as a direct participant or an indirect commentator. The view of the author, the participant or the characters did frequently appear in the works of New Journalism. Comparison of economic and environmental aspects of waste management in selected municipalities of different sizes

The industrial development of our society pushes waste management into becoming an important part of both the economy as well as the environmental protection. It is essential to reduce the amount of waste which is being deposited in landfills without any further use. In the next 10 years it is necessary to completely eliminate waste disposal of the reusable waste and especially of the mixed municipal waste. This thesis focuses on the waste management of various types of municipalities. It aims to provide optimization of waste management, in the connection with economical and technical possibilities of various types of municipalities. This thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes the issue of waste management in the course of history. It shows the various methods of waste disposal and describes the economic and environmental aspects and impacts in general. It briefly summarizes the development of waste management legislation. The second part of this thesis is focused on the analysis of waste management in selected municipalities. Twelve towns in three groups of different sizes were chosen. A survey of waste disposal and the influence of the size of the town and its technical options on the waste management was conducted. The results showed that municipalities have substantial reserves in reducing the amount of waste going to landfill and also in the practical use of waste sorting. Hodnocení environmentálních aspektů hospodaření firmy FORMSERVIS, spol. s.r.o.

The objective of this bachelor thesis is to analyze information of the company FORMSERVIS, Ltd. and to evaluate the potential benefits of this firm for sustainable development of the region. The methodology to analyze the sustainable development of the company with account to the nature of its activities and the availability of relevant data is proposed on the basis of the literature review. The practical part is an evaluation of selected indicators from economical, environmental and social points of view. Further results are discussed and contribution of the company to sustainable development of the region is assessed, conclusions and recommendations are suggested.
