SMV-2023-62: Optical beam head A
Mikel, Břetislav
A feasibility study for the development of the principle, arrangement and verification of an optical head for 637 nm wavelength, which will have an input adapted to the FC/PC fibre connector, with an output laser beam focused at a distance of 400 mm with a width of 6-10 mm, a thickness of max. 60 um and a depth of field of min. 5 mm.
Top hat beam in free space optics
Golda, Martin ; Wilfert, Otakar (referee) ; Hudcová, Lucie (advisor)
This thesis describes a way of laser beam shaping of Gaussian profile to Top hat profile and the influence of atmospheric turbulences and attenuation on both these beam profiles. Its aim is to get acquainted oneself with a structure of atmosphere, principle of optical radiation which is used in free space communication and the influence of atmosphere on laser beam. To be successful in creation of beam with Top hat profile is necessary to study the principle of focusing by using the plano-convex lenses and other diffraction elements. This thesis compares the influence of atmospheric turbulences and attenuation between Gauss and Top hat beam results for two different wavelengths.
Design of laser beam shaping system
Kropáč, Ondřej ; Coufalíková,, Aneta (referee) ; Hudcová, Lucie (advisor)
Diploma thesis deal with design of laser beam shaping system. The theoretical part presents basic information about the light spread lika the optical beams. There are also properties of optical and optoelectronic components that are used for shaping the laser beam. The next section provides basic molding methods, their principles and qualities. In the last, experimental, part is first introduced designed computer algorithm, which is then used to calculate the quality parameters shaped laser beams. Following, there are presented the results of measurements and calculations for some of these methods.
SMV-2020-42: Research and development of aspheric lens
Šarbort, Martin ; Holá, Miroslava ; Lazar, Josef ; Vašátko, Albert
The aim of the contract research project was to design an optical system that generates a laser beam of a specific shape. The optical system was based on a specially designed aspheric lens. The lens parameters were calculated using an optimization algorithm. The properties of the generated beam were verified in specialized software for the design of optical systems.
SMV-2017-23: Optimization of nanolitography
Jákl, Petr ; Šerý, Mojmír
Two-photon photopolymerization technique was improved by decreasing optical aberrations and optimization of laser beam.

SMV-2013-19: Nanolithography system based on two-photon photopolymerization
Jákl, Petr ; Šerý, Mojmír ; Zemánek, Pavel
The reasearch contract deals with development of experimental setup for dynamic shaping of laser beams. Using computer generated holographic phase masks, it is possible to create independent foci of laser beams in the sample space, change their intensity profiles and power of each diffracted beam. By employing fast acousto-optic modulator, the complex procedure allows control of sample irradiation within microsecond resolution. It is possible to precisely select sample region for laser impact using computer-controlled nano-positioning stage.
