3D RECONSTRUCTION OF ABANDONED SETTLEMENTS OF THE CENTRAL POVLTAVÍ
Andrštová, Martina ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor) ; Jaroš, Jakub (referee)
3D reconstruction of abandoned settlements of the central Povltaví ABSTRACT This work deals with the use of Geoinformatic systems to create the three-dimensional model of an extinct landscape. The main subject of this bachelor work is the three-dimensional reconstruction of extinct municipalities in the central area of the Vltava River. The main task was to create digital terrain model of the original Vltava valley. The passage from Zvírotice to Svatojánské proudy has been chosen as the model territory. Two selected municipalities Zvírotice and Živohošť were thoroughly worked up. Many data sources were used in this work, such as historical photographs, historical aerial photographs or current orthophoto maps. Digital terrain models were created with the help of these datas and then the models were overlain with the orthophotos. 3D models of buildings and vegetation were put in the terrain models. Two periods were compared, 50th of the 20th century and present. Results of this work are fly-by animations and perspective scenes. The results will be used in newly built museum in Chotilsko town. Keywords: 3D reconstruction, DTM, land cover changes, orthophoto
Land cover changes and agriculture land take after the Slapy Dam construction in a model area
Bresťák, Martin ; Chuman, Tomáš (advisor) ; Zýka, Vladimír (referee)
The study deals with the evaluation of land cover changes and analyses agriculture land take after the Slapy Dam construction in a model area. It contains research about land cover changes and its driving forces, about land cover changes after the dam constructions in the world and in Czechia as well. Land cover changes and landscape structure changes are analysed in the practical part of the study using aerial photographs from 50s' and using data from RÚIAN (Registry of Territorial Identification, Addresses and Real Estate) database, which was corrected by latest available aerial photograph from ČÚZK (State Administration of Land Surveying and Cadastre, 2017), and impact of these changes on agriculture land was evaluated in this study. BPEJ (Valuated Soil Ecological Unit - the basic mapping and evaluation unit of the soil system) data are used in the thesis to evaluate the qualitative changes of agricultural land.
Land cover changes in military areas of Czechia
Outrata, David ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor) ; Červená, Lucie (referee)
1 Land cover changes in military areas of Czechia The aim of this bachelor thesis was to analyze and compare land cover changes in two areas affected by military activities, in military area Brdy and former military area Ralsko between 1986, 1998 and 2011. Maximum Likelihood supervised classification algorithm and Landsat 5 satellite images was used. Within the work was also examined the usability of Landsat images CDR, with atmospheric corrections applied. Reference data to gain control data were RGB and monochromatic aerial images. The classification system contained eight classes adapted to explored territory. Satellite photographs was classified on surveyed territories for the years 1986, 1998 and 2011, with overall classification accuracy ranged from 80.45% to 90.02%.With these data was further worked, and tables and graphs showing the area of individual land cover in the given time horizons was compiled. Outputs are also land cover maps, change maps and stable land cover maps. The expected trend that in the former military area after leaving the army land cover changed significantly, contrary to the current military area, where changes are minor, was confirmed. Key words: land cover changes, supervised classification, Landsat, Landsat CDR, military areas, Brdy, Ralsko, Geomatica, ArcGIS

The influence of land cover changes and landscape fragmentation on provision of the carbon sequestration ecosystem service
Pechanec, V. ; Purkyt, Jan ; Cudlín, Pavel
The aim of our contribution is to analyse the influence of land cover changes and landscape fragmentation in two small catchments (Všeminka, Fryštácký potok) within the forest–agricultural landscape of eastern Moravia (Czech Republic) on the carbon sequestration ecosystem service. Fragmentation was analysed using landscapeecological indices within ArcGIS 10.x software using the Patch Analyst extension. Data about the carbon sequestration ecosystem service were processed in the InVEST model. In the Všeminka catchment, carbon sequestration increased over the entire period of observation of 1953–2012. In the Fryštácký potok catchment, carbon sequestration decreased from 1950 to 2005, but increased from 2005 to 2012. The changes in fragmentation were not significant between 1953 and 2012, and so changes in carbon sequestration were caused mostly by land cover changes. The relationships among land cover change, fragmentation, and carbon sequestration from 1953 to 2012 are discussed.
Development of land use in the central part of the Bohemian Forest in the context of socio-political changes
FLUKSOVÁ, Hana
This thesis deals with the evaluation of land cover changes in twelve cadastral areas in the central part of the Bohemian Forest. This area was gradually abandoned due to political changes in the 20th century. For the purpose of this study, the historical Stabile Cadastre maps from 1837 and aerial photographs from 1949 and 2008 are used. The work follows both the development of the area as a whole and the development of the individual segments around the "Iron Curtain ", built after the World War II. Another aim of this work is to determine the spatial distribution of trees in an open countryside. Field data are supplemented with the features calculated from the digital elevation model and the distances of each species to man-made landscape elements present in the area around the time of displacement (aerial photos from 1949).
