Data standard of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic

This work attempts at exploring the data standard of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic and the possibility of access to NIS Clinicom. The chronology of changes in the block structure and data description has been described. The web acces to NIS Clinicom has been designed and put into effect by means of CSP which can be used to generate data messages concerning patients with a selected infectious diagnosis corresponding with the compulsory report to the National Medical Information System.

The information support of laboratory requisitions in hospitals in the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with the information support of laboratory requisitions in medical facilities in the Czech Republic. Its aim is to analyze the usage status of electronic request systems and their integration into hospital systems in practice of Czech medical equipment. Further, on the basis of the survey, the thesis draws conclusions about the overall state and an assumed development of such systems. The analysis was conducted by means of questionnaire survey in a randomly chosen sample of health facilities in the CR. The study results can serve both to the actual respondents who participated in the study for comparison with the competition and to IS / ICT companies for the eventual development of application software systems to support the analyzed area. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is based on the available research, literature and electronic sources concerning information technology in health care. The practical part deals with the research study - a questionnaire survey, analysis, and interpretation of results.

Analysis of utilising of IS/ICT in the company Futurelab GmbH Wien

This bachelor paper inquires the usage of information systems and information and communication technologies in the laboratories of the holding Futurelab GmbH Wien. It analyses how the company makes use of the implemented information system for to support the laboratory processes, discision processes and how the system provides the company with some additional advantages. The practital part contains the study of the existing information sytem, laboratory processes, requirements for a new information system regarding legislature as well as keeping the continuity of the laboratory activity and the overview of the functionality demanded. The final part presents an alternative analysis of implementing new information system including an analysis of the Czech market of laboratory information system suppliers. For each vendor his offers of laboratory systems with their characterization and appraisal are presented.
