The study of the influence of process parameters on the roughness of the cut for flame laser cutting of structural carbon steel

This bachelor thesis deals with the cutting of material with laser in an oxidizing environment. It is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes general methods for cutting materials, their advantages and disadvantages, further current industrial lasers are described, as well as the influence of parameters on cutting quality. In the experimental part has been processed the influence of process parameters on the quality of the cut and comparison with ISO 9013. Material used in the practical part is the structural carbon steel called S235JRG2, which was cut in the oxidizing environment. Based on the evaluation of surface, the price of lasser cutting of one meter was selected and then as th best option of settings process parameters for achieving good surface quality was selected. At the conclusions of the thesis there are compared changes in proces parameters and their evaluation
3D abrasive water jet

This master's thesis deals with abrasive water jet cutting in the introduction. Another part is focused on deploying technology 3D cutting with abrasive water jet in conditions of a medium-sized company. This technology allows the elimination of bevels, and angel cutting. The following sections deal with technological capabilities of the specific machine and experimental comparison of samples cut by AWJ and DWJ technology. The work also includes a sample layout of machines on existing premises, the proposal for a potential component base and economic evaluation.

In the second part, the thesis is focused on testing the parameters of the laser and evaluating the most suitable parameters. In the last part the diploma thesis deals with comparison of unconventional technologies in terms of cut quality
Analisys of the material for laser cutting

This thesis deals with laser cutting of metal sheets from selected steel producers. The basics of laser technologies, especially in industrial use, are described in the introductory part. There the material requirements are described from the point of view of laser cutting. The comparison of materials from different steel producers is made from different angles in the practical part. The conclusion is dedicated to the evaluation of achieved results.
Effect of a plasma torch jet wear on a newly incurred surface while using PBM technology

This bachelor thesis deals with methods of thermal cutting, describes them briefly and compares them. For more detail plasma arc and the impact of operational parameters on the quality of the cut and on the lifetime of consumables are described. The experiment is concerned with the influence of the plasma torch nozzle and electrode wear on the cut quality. Finally there are mentioned some construction solutions to increase the lifetime of the nozzle and electrode.

This master´s thesis deals with bevel plasma cutting and the possibility of its use in a smaller company. It describes priciple of this technology, analyzes typical area of application and solves the production proces of a specific component. The new procedure is then compared with the earlier production of this component and then a comparison of production times and economical aspects is made.
Effect of mowing technique on the quality of cutting, condition and composition of grassland

The aim of this work is to assess the influence of mowing technology on mowing height, mowing uniformity, cut quality and botanical composition of grasslands. To achieve these goals, two meadows were selected in the cadastral territory of Bukvice near Trhové Sviny in 2022. The first selected meadow was mowed with a rotary disc mower. The second selected meadow was mowed with a rotary drum mower. The botanical composition was recorded for all monitored meadows, and the water and nutrient regime was determined. Before mowing, the condition of the mowing mechanisms, the set mowing height and the condition of the mowing blades were monitored. After cutting, the actual height and uniformity of the stubble, biomass production, and the amount of remaining uncut biomass were monitored. The quality of the cut was evaluated.

Frame saws controling - maintenance and utilization of the saw blades

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of operating frame saws, maintenance and usage of saw blades. In the introductory part, historic development and improvement of frame saws in the Czech Republic and abroadis gradually dismantled. The second part focuses on the theoretical analysis of the process of cutting frame saws. Next part deals with technical - technological characteristics of frame saws. The cutting mechanism and also the usage of the machineis described there. Next part is focused on categorization of cutting frame saws according to a frame diameter and from the kinematic point of view. The next section describes the methods of division by frame saws, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of the machines. The following section focuses on the cutting tool of frame saws, its definition and characteristics. In this section, a saw blades, its distribution, shape and geometry are described. The final part deals with maintenance of saw blades, compensation and removal of local defects of internal stress, subsequent control of internal tensions, as well as distributing of the blades. Further more, this part deals with grinding wheels for sharpening of saw blades and mistakes that occurduring the sharpening of the saws.
