Video as a Tool for Teaching Geography at Lower Secondary Schools

The primary aim of this thesis is to develop educational geographic videos and subsequently assess their pertinence in addressing critical components of the geography curriculum. The theoretical framework entails the identification of pivotal elements within the geography curriculum for secondary-level elementary education. Subsequently, the utilization of video as an instructional tool in geography education is introduced. The practical segment systematically delineates the creation of individualized video content, followed by an in-depth analysis of their efficacy and applicability in geography instruction, facilitated through pilot semi-structured interviews with educators.
