Komárková, Kristýna ; Klinka, Tomáš (advisor) ; Nováková, Sylva (referee)
Kristýna Komárková ABSTRACT The diploma thesis deals with dealing with errors while teaching French as a foreign language with regard to speaking. The first part of the thesis contains the definition of the term error, its conception within modern teaching methods, classification of errors and most common causes of their occurrence. Corrective strategies analysis and particularities of dealing with errors within spoken language can also be found within the theoretical part of the thesis. Those theoretical findings are then applied in the practical part of the thesis which contains two case studies that are subject of the analysis of the corrective strategies used in French language classes at primary school. The practical part continues with a survey conducted between both teachers and pupils. The questionnaire is designed in order that it is possible to compare the views of pupils and teachers on the issue of error correction in the process of teaching and learning foreign languages. In particular, teachers are asked about the procedure and techniques they apply while they are dealing with pupils' errors, while questions for pupils focus more on their feelings that the error and error correction arise in themselves. The aim of the thesis was to compare teachers' and pupils' opinions on dealing with...

Dubišarová, Václava ; Novotná, Jarmila (advisor) ; Vondrová, Naďa (referee)
Inequalities as a diagnostical tool for discovering formalism in various domains of school mathematics Abstract: This thesis targets various types of errors and their causes, in particular formal using of mathematical symbolism, appearing in students solutions of specific inequalities. The theoretical part refers on articles dea- ling with the difficulties manifested in students solutions of inequalities and with factors influencing appearence of these difficulties, on the basic publi- cation dealing with the theory of errors and the factors that influence the occurrence of these. In the practical part, I analyze works of students from one secondary school in Prague. The aim of the diploma is to detect domains where negative transfer of knowledge influence the domain of inequalities. Errors identified in these solutions are closely linked with domain of equati- ons, but they are also influenced by knowledge from the domain of function, sets, algebraic expressions, mathematical logic and numbers. Keywords: Work with errors, typology of errors, inequalities, mathemati- cal symbolism, transfer of knowledge, goniometric inequalities, strategies in solving inequalities 1
Mistakes in Writing from the Psycholinguistic Perspective
Křivánková, Jana ; Chromý, Jan (advisor) ; Adam, Robert (referee)
The thesis is concerned with speech errors and errors in writing. It summarizes the theories of spoken and written language production and specifies basic types of speech errors and errors in writing. The interpretation of typing errors is presented which is based on a corpus of errors collected directly for this purpose. The corpus also serves as a basis for statistical analysis of the frequency of typing errors. The thesis also compares types of speech errors and errors in writing and identifies main differences and similarities between them.
