Ape Boards

Ape Boards is my own newly formed label, which manufactures snowboards and kiteboards. For this thing I have proposed a substantial logotype, which has a function as a unifying element across the whole brand and designs boards. Website (www.apeboards.com). A first collection of snowboards and kiteboards from which I had made 7 pieces for a thesis. Designs do not 'mass' lust, because the objective is not a big production or promotion, but based on what I liked. From the minimalism through the color geometry to the gorillas, according to which the brand was named.

Evolution of kiteboarding from the perspective of its users, locations and services.

(English version) My Diploma thesis deals with the evolution of kiteboarding from the perspective of its users, connected locations and services. In my work you can find summary of powerkiting disciplines, historical background and main kiteboarding associations. Diploma thesis gives complex overview within the industry a gives perspectives on possible evolution of this relatively young sport. Title: Evolution of kiteboarding from the perspective of its users, connected locations and services. Objectives: The main goal of my thesis is research of actual development of kiteboarding and to give perspectives on possible development. Actual trend shows growing interest in powerkiting sports within groups of user of different age and nationalities. In my Diploma will be made research focused on kiteboarders. I will be searching on different tasks like: entry into the sport, critical phases of the sport, important spots and services connected to the sport. Methods: Methods of research will be based on collection and following analysis of data. Primary information will be collected by questionnaires, interviews and observation. Characteristic of the Czech kiteboarding population

(English version) Title: Characteristic of the Czech kiteboarding population Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is research of available sources concerning to the topic and analysis and detailed characteristic of the Czech kiteboarding population. Methods: Research of this thesis was based on questionnaires which were collected between kiteboarders and following analysis of collected information. Questionnaire has 20 topics, which were given to respondents who already have experiences with kiteboarding. The questions in the research were made to give one answer or select one of the options. It was collected 200 questionnaires at total. Main methods used in this work are: analysis, synthesis, induction. Results: On the base of research were confirmed given hypothesis. Which are: 1. We assume that at least half of the kiteboarding population think that kiteboarding is dangerous. 2. More than half of the respondents started with kiteboarding on their own. In diploma thesis which is about relatively young and developing sport were collected and analyzed important figures on sample of kiteboarding population. The safety of kiteboarding

Title: Kiteborading safety Aims: The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to analyze the most important safety aspects of kiteboarding, to propose a methodology for solving the crisis situations, how to prevent them and how to provide first aid in the event of an accident. Methods: The bachelor's thesis was processed in the form of a search, in which I used the method of analysis and comparison. I analyzed the collected data from the information sources, and I used the method of comparison when comparing the research thesis with frequent injuries. This thesis has a compilative, comparative and analytical character. For the chapter on crisis management, the key source were a videos from the youtube channel, where you could find countless lessons and injuries, recorded on an action camera. Some were supplemented by the author's comment with a proposal for prevention and solution of the situation. Other sources from which I drew included bachelor's and master's theses, websites of the International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO), electronic and printed books To obtain primary data, I used the bibliographic database scopus, which led me to several researches. Sustainability of kiteboarding: Generating a set of indicators for valuating of environmental impacts of kiteboarding factories

10 Abstract This study deals with sustainability of kiteboarding with focus on manufacturing of equipment for this water sport. The goal of this research was to develop set of specialized indicators for kiteboarding companies in order to monitor their externalities on the environment. Firstly, the author collected the recent scientific knowledge about this young sport. Subsequently, sustainability of related sports as surfing, windsurfing and wakeboarding were questioned. It is possible to say that the materials used for manufacturing of the equipment mean great environmental problem. Another negative impacts are caused by large-scale events and tourism. By a comparison mezhod the GRI initiative was chosen as basic set of indicators. These indicators were then modified to meet the needs of kiteboarding industry as much as possible. However, some new indicators were invented and unnecessary indicators were rejected. These changes were based on analysis of CSR reports of big sport goods companies; analysis of negative externalities of kiteboarding; and interviews with manufacturers of kiteboarding equipment. Draft of methodical exercises for teaching kiteboarding

Title: Draft of methodical exercises for teaching kiteboarding Objective: The aim of the thesis is an accumulation of information about teaching kiteboarding, analysis and based on the processed surveys to draft a methodical exercises for teaching kiteboarding. Methods: The research of the thesis was carried out using a questionnaire. Questionnaire contained 27 questions intended for respondents who have three or more years of experience teaching kiteboarding. The questions were designed to allow only one answer that could possibly amend their answer with a comment. Surveys were sent to respondents via email and have accumulated a total of 19 completed surveys. The results: Based on processed surveys and my own empirical experience teaching kiteboarding was created a draft of methodical line of exercises for teaching kiteboarding. Development and trend popularity of kiting

Title: Development and trend popularity of kiting Objective: The aim of this thesis is the accumulation of available sources of information, their analysis and detailed characterization of Czech kite population. Methods: The research of this thesis was carried out with the help of the questionnaire. Our questionnare included 14 questions designed to respondents who active kiters are or have ever tried this sport. The questions were designed to allow only one answer or multiple choice. The survey was stored in electronic form on the website www.vyplnto.cz, where it gathered 264 responses. Another 37 were obtained by personal contact on the spots. In the bachelor thesis are mainly used methods of analysis, induction, deduction, synthesis and the method of questioning. The results: The carried research refuted both expressed hypotheses. There was a refutation of the first hypothesis: Preferences landkiting and snowkiting equals preferences of kiteboarding.
