Sound installation
Vacek, Lukáš ; Frank, Jakub (referee) ; Ambrůz, Jan (advisor)
In my bachelor thesis, I tried to evaluate my experience with working with sound, vibrations and the way they spread through different types of material. Examine the characteristics of the material and its properties through a minimalist form and through a targeted reduction of the vibrations themselves, while observing how they affect human perception. The fundamental concept of the installation is derived from this relationship. I am fascinated by how vibration and sound in space can create a situation that engulfs the viewer. The significance and the symbolism of this correlation, i.e. the ability of sound to create, distort and transform space and the way humans perceive this action is the main concept of my bachelor thesis. The vibrations represent the constant movement, change and uncertainty that are key aspects of this installation, but also of human existence and its perception. The scenographic nature of the artwork illustrates and alters the space around it with its audiovisual features, giving the impression of its own imaginary architecture. This creates a dynamic dialogue between the objects, which mutually vibrate and resonate through connections between the space and the audience.

"In motion". Series of Creative Lessons for Art Education at Primary School.
ŠINDELÁŘOVÁ, Eva
Both theoretical project-based thesis focuses on the topic of motion in art and education. To be able to cover this very complex subject, the thesis consists firstly of thematic search, which is dedicated to the phenomenon of capturing motion in the field of arts. It aims to examine motion and dynamics from a thematic perspective as well as constituted separately as an independent element by introducing the basic kinetic principles used in contemporary modern art. The introductory theoretical part of the thesis is secondly followed by a didactic analysis of the issue, mapping a few selected principles and describing how they are handled in primary school teaching. Subsequent part of the thesis is project-based, and it develops the topic further in a practical dimension. It presents eight interrelated, creative lectures including a written preparation and its application in a primary school classroom. It targets different dimensions of motion in art, various ways of expressing and capturing it through experimental methods involving traditional and modern art techniques, medias and practices.

PUPPET ON THE EDGE OF FIGURAL KINETIC SCULPTURES
Wildtová, Lucie ; SMOLÍK, Robert (advisor) ; MATÁSEK, Petr (referee)
This dissertation predominately talks about two projects that came to life during my studies at DAMU. In the preliminary theoretical part the dissertation sets out its goal to define names, that are connected with puppet and kinetics. Furthermore, there is a mention of a few sources of inspiration that directly or indirectly influenced the birth of both projects. The first project is a performance of stage design students that originated in the village Pustiny in 2012. The second part of the dissertation describes the performance Ostrovy -Islands that came to existence in 2012/13 with participation of Erasmus students. The dissertation is mainly focused on puppets and objects. There is documentation and DVD containing the Ostrovy -Islands performance in the visual appendix.
