MiWi Protocol Driver for Linux

This bachelor's thesis describes creating of device driver for Linux. The result driver is able to handle PAN coordinator device for MiWi protocol. User is able to communicate with device using socket network interface. The theoretical part provides fundamentals of operations and creation of new device drivers for Linux kernel. The main parts of this work consist of design, implementation, final testing and evaluation of results

This thesis describes the design and implementation of communication with FPGA using PL330 circuit. For this solution were implemented two kernel modules for OS Linux in language C. These modules provides interface for effective communication between user space application and FPGA.
Extending RedirFS to Userspace

The purpose of this thesis is to consider the rigth way how to make a user space extension of RedirFS, which works as a Linux kernel module and implement it. There is described a model of user and kernel spaces used in Linux and how this two spaces can communicate with each other. There are several communication mechanisms described with a description of use. Bandwidth and latency tests for all these mechanisms are implemented. Measurement results are presented and the suitable mechanism is chosen. The second part of the thesis is focused on redirctl and urfs. The first solution represents the RedirFS control tool, the second is the implementation of user space filters.
