Benjamin Košut - the life and work of an evangelical pastor

The work deals with the life and work of the evangelical pastor Benjamin Košut (1822-1898). Košut served at the congregation in Borová, Velenice, but mainly at St. Clement's in Prague. During his service in Prague, he contributed to the periodical Českobratrský hlas, of which he was also responsible editor. At this time, among other things, he took part in a dispute with his opponents, who were inclined towards the neo- Calvinist approach to the reformed faith. Košut was suspended for his views and had to defend himself in disciplinary proceedings. During the proceedings, he was found guilty, but after signing a written undertaking, he was allowed to return to his pastoral activity. Košut is in many ways an interesting personality. He had a thoroughly rationalistic approach to faith, he was not afraid to break certain dogmas. He saw God as a loving fatherly figure who considers people his children, rejecting the completely negative anthropology of orthodox Calvinism. For Košut, Jan Hus was a great inspiration and probably the greatest personality of the Czech reformation, to whom he dedicated many sermons full of admiration. The bachelor thesis deals with the environmental thinking in the life of parish and the stimuli for its development. The theoretic part defines basic concepts related to the issue of environmental thinking and the parish and defines their mutual relationship. It briefly describes the ecological crisis and the call for ecological conversion from public, political and church initiatives. The practical part presents the quantitative research using the method of questionnaire survey. The aim of this research was to elucidate the practical reflections of environmental thinking in the parish's lives. The main focus of the bachelor thesis was to find how much environmental thinking appears in the life of the parish and describe in which areas it appears most often and which negative factors have the greatest impact on it.

The thesis Progressive cathecism by Joseph Colomb: inspiration for contemporary cathechetics describes one of the most important parts of work of French theologian Joseph Colomb (1902-1979). Progressive cathecism is divided into three parts - each one focuses on a group of children of different age. The aim of the thesis is to introduce content of the work, its methods and objectives. It also shows the context of Colomb`s thinking and development of cathechesis during the first half of the 20th century. In final part of this work we summarize the points which are important for contemporary cathechetics.
School in Zlata Koruna and its visual didactic application of basic education

The thesis deals with the School of Zlatá Koruna and its visual didactical application of basic education. First part is orientated on a pedagogical efficiency in the use of instruments and didactical pictures in the structure of teaching. The main part contains the digitizing of pictures from Zlatá Koruna with the encryption of hidden details. The conclusion of the thesis is engaged in the possible utilization of artafacts from Zlatá Koruna in current education.
