Honeysuckle Lonicera camtschatica - unconventional fruit of Czech republic
Rybníčková, Eva ; Šalplachta, Jan (referee) ; Vespalcová, Milena (advisor)
This work speaks about the possibilities of using fruits of the blue honeysuckle (Lonicera camtschatica) in the food industry. The first part describes the properties of this plant and methods of its cultivation. The second chapter deals with the chemical composition of the fruits and the importance of nutritionally valuable substances contained in them. The third chapter assesses the current appearance of the fruits in the world in the commercial point of view and the possibilities of processing the fruits into products. The last part deals with the methods of isolation and determination of important substances in the fruits, namely anthocyanins.

The submitted thesis on the topic of Evaluation of Growth and Harvest Data of Kamchatka blueberries is focused on the description of possibilities of cultivation and using of individual varieties of edible honeysuckle. The evaluation and monitoring of planting took place on the property school agricultural enterprise in Žabčice, the laboratory pat and the evaluation of results took place in the laboratory of Mendel University in Brno. This thesis includes characteristic of genus Lonicera L., botanical description of genus Lonicera kamtschatica L., growing demands, multiplication possibilities, description of the most famous variety and results of observation of 27 varieties of edible honeysuckle. The height of the bush, cubic capacity of bush, annual increment and phenological phases were evaluated. To harvest parameters were monitored a height, fruit width, fruit weight, fruit shape shrub yield, content of refractometric dry matter, content of ascorbic acid and the total dry matter content of the fruit. The annex of this thesis comprise graphs and tables of recording of results. During the observation, a continuous documentation was taken, and it is used in the thesis.
Opylování zimolezu modrého (Lonicera caerulea L.)
Vládek, Aleš
The aim of the thesis was to conduct a literature search on cultivation and especially pollination of honeysuckle, by attempting to compare the effect of free pollination with manual self-pollination and manual cross-pollination on fruit yield and study pollinators of Lonicera cearulea L. Therefore, in 2018, pollination and bee diversity were assessed from April to May by 'Sinnaja ptica', 'Gerda' and 'Viola' varieties. The results confirmed honeysuckle insect infestation. Self-pollination and non-pollination did not reach harvest parameters as in the case of free pollination. However, there is an unspecified influence of pollinators on the efficacy of blue honeysuckle pollination since manual foreign pollination has failed to maximize yield. Blooming haskaps prefer long-tongued bees, especially bumblebees and honeybees.
Hodnocení růstových a sklizňových údajů kamčatských borůvek (Lonicera caeruela L.)
Prnová, Štěpánka
The objective of this thesis is the evaluation of growth and harvest data of sweetberry honeysuckle (Lonicera caerulea L.), furthermore evaluation and comparison of phenological characteristics of different varieties. The phenological phases of the shrubs were evaluated: sprouting, flowering, ripening, harvesting and leaf fall. In terms of growth is evaluated height and cubic volume of shrubs and effective yield. For harvesting parameters was monitored height, width and weight of the fruits, the content of refractive solids, vitamin C and a total solids content in the fruits. Every measurement and evaluation is supplemented by tables and graphs with the results evaluated by program STATISTICA 12. Flowering was evaluated according to photographic evidence taken over several weeks in the main growing season. At the end, the most suitale varieties were recommended according to the findings in the terms of size and weight of fruits, vitamin C and a refractive solids and also taking into account the volume of shrubs and effective yield of a given variety.

This thesis on the topic : Evaluation of growth and harvest data of sweetberry honeysuckle (Lonicera caerulea L.) is focused on the evaluation of growth, harvest and phenological characteristics of different varieties of honeysuckle. In the thesis there were evaluated from the growth characteristics the height of shrubs, cubic capacity of shrubs, annual growth and evaluation of flowering. For harvesting parameters there were observed the height and width of fruits, weight of one fruit, fruit shapes, refractometric dry substance content, the content of vitamin C and the dry matter content in fruits. In phenological phases there were recorded the date of budding, flowering, ripening of the fruits, harvesting and loss of leaves. The thesis is supplemented with charts and tables of published results and with the description in the text part of the work. It also includes the description of some most commonly grown varietes. During the observation there was taken continuous photo documentation. On the base of the findings it is possible now to to select the variety with the largest fruits, the heaviest fruits, the largest content of vitamin C, refractive dry matter or total dry mater content in the fruits or with the largest cubic capacity growth of the shrub.
