Hadi rodu Botrops: taxonomie, rozšíření, ekologie a vztah k lesním ekosystémům

Bachelor's thesis deals with lanceheads of genus Bothrops. Main aim of this work was to find out their demands on the environment and get overview about their life. In the first part of the thesis we find description of individual species and their bionomics, threat level, ecology and encounters with people, when the snakebites can occur. In the second part the observations in the wild was realized, where several countries of Latin America, namely Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama and Bolivia were visited. The observation was successful only in Panama and Costa Rica. Also observations in captivity were carried out. After that we included comparison with another authors about the observation in the wild on the same localities and even the comparison of care conditions in the captivity.
