Feasibity study of biofuels sources
Zemach, Vít ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
Technical-economical study of biofuel cultivation is the topic of this diploma thesis. This is a study that includes the technology of growing biomass and its subsequent treatment. Part of the work is an economic and sensitivity analysis, which aims to determine the price of produced biomass. This work focuses on herbal biofuels and their comparison with other types of fuels.
Biologie, rozšíření a způsoby regulace Křídlatky {Reynoutria sp.}
VRBOVÁ, Jana
In my diploma thesis I deal with an invasive species of plants of the genus knotweed, the distribution of species and the possibilities of regulation in the area of interest. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes plant invasions, invasive species, basic characteristics and distribution of plants of the genus knotweed. Other negative impacts of plant invasions, costs of combating invasive species, methods of vegetation regulation are also mentioned. The practical part describes the actual monitoring of the area of interest, identified and measured localities, the possibility of regulating the winged vegetation in the area of interest and a comparison with the results of mapping the winged vegetation in the same area of interest, carried out in 1999.

Possibilities of utilization of knotweed plants ( genus \kur{(Reynoutria)}
VRBOVÁ, Jana
In my bachelor thesis I deal with a summary of information about the possibilities of treatment of invasive plants of the genus Knotweed and the possibilities of using these plants in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into several parts. In the first part, I deal with detailed characteristics of specific plants of the genus Knotweed in the Czech Republic, including taxonomic classification and extension. In the next part I deal with ways of using plants of the genus Knotweed in several sectors and possibilities of cultivation and processing. In conclusion, I suggest possibilities of elimination and liquidation of wild knotweed with subsequent useful and effective use of the large amount of phytomass that the plants provide.
Risk analysis of selected SCI by invasive alien plant species
Janošková, Romana ; Berchová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Martin, Martin (referee)
The issue of spreading invasive plant and animal species is becoming increasingly topical. It is not possible to control the spread of invasive species without appropriate interventions and restrictions. This thesis researches endangering of SCI by selected invasive plant species whose presence was monitored in 2015. An occurrence of invasive plants, depending on the altitude and the area of the invasion in the selected SCI, is compared in this thesis. A suitable proposal limiting the spread of invasive plant species is also considered in this work. Using statistical analyzes the level of threat of the SCI is monitored and also found out whether the protection of habitats that are subjected to protection of the SCI.
Biotopové mapování NPP Skalická Morávka jako podklad pro monitoring regenerace křídlatky po plošném zásahu herbicidem
Blahuta, Jaroslav
Jaroslav Blahuta: Habitat mapping NPP Skalická Morávka as a basis for monitoring regeneration Reynoutria spp. printed after the intervention of the herbicide. The aim of this thesis was to map the habitats of the Catalogue of habitats (Culek et al., 2010) in the NPP Skalická Morávka and their level of invasion Reynoutria spp. as a basis for monitoring areal intervention herbicide. NPP is the subject of the protection of the natural stretch of the river Morávka in gravel sediments with their characteristic communities. These communities are bound occurrence of rare and endangered species (for example Myricaria germanica). Territory NPP was interspersed with square nets (50 x 50 m), which contained 454 nodes. At every point was made simplified the occurrence and registration of a particular species, found coverage representativeness, degree of degradation and the presence of dead wood. Based on these characteristics was to characterize habitats with regard to the level of invasion of neophytes. Overall the 454 mapping points to characterize habitat 13 by the concept of Culek et al. (2010). The percentage of each habitat is as follows: L2.2 (54,75 %), L2.4 (0,66 %), L3.2 (3,09 %), K2.2 (11,92 %), M1.4 (0,22 %), M4.1 (9,27 %), M4.2 (0,22 %), X7A (5,52 %), X7B (10,82 %), X12A (0,66 %), X12B (0,22 %), V4B (2,21 %) and T1.1 (0,5%). The overall level of invasion NPP Reynoutria spp. is 61 %. The highest abundances reached in natural habitats L2.2 (61 %), K2.2 (55 %) and M1.4 (52 %). Invasion of Impatiens glandulifera is 26 %. The highest abundances stood near the river (habitat K2.2, M1.4 and X7B). In terms of representativeness was most often to characterize transitional habitats with 82.9 % of the mapping points. According to the degree of degradation was 22 % of the nodes proved negative factor (most often the occurrence of neophytes, or illegal dumps).Dead wood is found only 6 % of the territory. The work represents a good basis for future monitoring and management optimization.
MONITORING OF CHOSEN NON-INDIGENOUS PLANT SPECIES IN SELECTED LOCATIONS OF THE SOUTH BOHEMIAN REGION (FOR EXAMPLE DISTRICT OF ČESKÝ KRUMLOV AND ČESKÉ BUDĚJOVICE)
KORFOVÁ, Gabriela
The main aim of this dissertation is to determine the global occurence of geografically non-indigenous plant species - Giant Hogweed (Heracleum mantegazzianum), Himalayan balsam (Impatiens glandulifera), Japanese knotweed (Reynoutria japonika), Sakhalin knotweed (Reynoutria sachalinensis) and Reynoutria x bohemika in selected locations of the South Bohemian region, for example in district of Český Krumlov and České Budějovice. The theoretical part is focused on the characteristics of selected localities where there is an occurrence of these plants and description of the above-mentioned invasive plant species and thier subsequent liquidation. The result of the dissertation (of the work) are the map´s outputs processed in the Geographic Information System, which record the global occurance of geografically non-indigenous plant species.
ImageJ - program for scientific processing of digital images
ŠKRABAL, Miroslav
Because image analysis is a very broad topic, this thesis deals only with the use of computer vision and image analysis for common tasks solved in the scientific industry. The thesis investigated the applicability of common hardware and software tools for creating a methodology for measuring the mass area of knotweed leaves. Part of the methodology is a description of its steps, including addressing possible pitfalls that can occur during application of the methodology. Furthermore thesis contains a description of the included macro created for ImageJ analysis program and introduction to the program itself. Finally, there are presented results obtained by application of the methodology.
