The bachelor thesis is focused on alternative forms of investment (commemorative coins made of precious metals and French wines- Bordeaux) in comparison with common financial investments available within the financial market (life insurance, additional pension insurance and collective investment). The theoretical part places emphasis on definition of various investment forms principles and highlighting particular advantages and negatives. In the practical part, there are these investment tools analysed and consequently compared.

The topic of the dissertation is collective investment. It defines notion of collective investment, its legal form in Czech Republic, its advantages and disadvantages. It characterizes subjects of collective investment and their structuring. In the last part it presents products which outline on the base of comparing and determination advantages and disadvantages frame of possibilities of collective investment in the Czech Republic.
Analysis of mutual funds in the Czech Republic

The bachelor thesis focuses on the area of collective investment and the types of mutual funds in the Czech Republic in which investors can invest their funds. The work is mainly focused on the comparison of three stock mutual funds and three bond mutual funds from various investment companies. The funds are compared according to the following criteria: return of funds, risk, fees, costs, investment horizon and portfolio size. Further attention is paid to the influence of history, especially the impact of the 2008 crisis. Based on the evaluation of the results, the most advantageous fund for a small investor is recommended. The main purpose of the thesis is to show investors all of the important criteria and analyze the available information of each mutual fund so that the funds bring the highest possible value of investments.
Investment company in managing funds of the qualified investors

Investment company in managing funds of the qualified investors The aim of this proposed thesis is a qualitative analysis of the internal mechanisms of operations of an investment company in managing a fund of qualified investors. The stated goal is to relatively analyse the organism, which is providing the managing portfolio in the ownership of the fund by abstracting the most important processes that are taking place in such matter. The thesis is divided in a logical order from the historical genesis of collective investment through a brief analysis of the basic subjects of collective investment up to a qualitative analysis of the issues relating to the management of the assets of an externally managed fund with regard to the division of functions of individual bodies inside the investment structure. In conclusion, following the qualitative analysis of the activities of the individual bodies of the investment company - I then, on an example of the acquisition process, attempt to analyse and break down the roles of the individual bodies performing as a part of the acquisition of an asset to the portfolio of an externally managed investment fund.
Collective investment in the Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis concerns with Collective investment in CR. It describes the collective investment and the subjects of it. The thesis deals with history and law adjusting the collective investment in CR then compares the chosen mixed funds in term of six criteria, which are profitability, fund history, volatility, performance of the fund, net asset value, and minimum investment amount. Results are evaluated with Weighted Sum Approach (WSA) method, from which is clear that the best option for the small investor is the fund Vyvážený mix FF. I would consider investing into riskier types on funds, because the real net profitability of the chosen funds is quite small.
Analysis of the collective investment funds in the Czech republic

This bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the current situation of collective investment in the Czech Republic and the classification of collective investment funds. The practical part mainly focuses on comparison of selected open equity and bond funds is made on the basis of selected criteria. Funds are compared according to the following criteria: return, risk, Sharp ratio, total cost and fees. In addition, attention is paid to the history, investment focus and fund statutes. Finally, the best fund is recommended to the small investor. This decision is based on the evaluation of achieved results of selected funds.

Analysis of the financial multinational company

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to financially analyze the subsidiary company Arca Capital Bohemia, a. s. during the period 2012 to 2015. The data and information which are used are publicly available on the Public register and Collection of documents, Ministry of Justice, Czech republic. The first part of bachelor thesis is a theoretical part where it is described what financial investments companies are focusing on, how they are investing and who those companies are monitored and regulated by. At the end of the theoretical part I present financial instruments which are offered by those companies to their investors in order to help them to invest with them. In the practical part I introduce my analyzed company and then I provide an analyze of this company. In the financial analyze I use absolute indicators, difference indicators, financial ratios, credit model and bankruptcy model. All indicators are always presented and subsequently practiced on Arca Capital Bohemia. All the calculations are always followed by the evaluation of the company and the figures are compared with a competitive company. In conlusion of the thesis I present a complete evaluation of the company in terms of financial health.
Collective investment in the light of a new Ect on investment companies and investment funds

The first chapter deals with basic issues of mutual fund industry. The aim of this chapter is to look at mutual fund as an institution especially from a fundamental economic perspective and come through into its economic nature. Furthermore the chapter contain description of main benefits of mutual funds as compared with the individual investment, draws attention to the problem of conflicts of interest and contains the basic classification of investment funds. The aim of the second chapter is to describe in basic features of legal framework of mutual fund industry in Czech Republic in the light of new Investment Company and Investment Fund Law. With regard to the scope of respective law, focuses the chapter mainly on applicability, structure, individual persons, legal forms and on some chosen questions. Content of the third chapter is brief treatise about taxation with respect to the mutual fund industry. This include case study performed on model situation and outline to the investment fund taxation in Luxembourg and Cayman Islands. The goal of this chapter is to evaluate whether intention to set up an attractive tax environment in the Czech Republic was successful or not.

The aim of the master thesis (Legal regulations on collective investing with a view to the role of bank as a depositary) is to analyze contemporary situation of collective investment in European and national context in the light of recent developments and trends in the world financial markets. The main purpose to pursue this subject matter and also the reason why this master thesis has been written is to obtain a clear overview of all regulations and principles (not merely at statutory level) which might affect the activities connected with founding, operation and investment decisions of UCITS and non-UCITS collective investment entities. Second part of the thesis, after the introduction, describes shortly the historical roots of collective investing, followed by a separate subchapter covering the general principle of collective investing through which all other parts of the thesis are knotted together. Third part provides a short structuring of the collective investment entities from a legal point of view, taking into account different characteristics of corporate entities engaged. Also diverse investment strategies and the increasing importance of collective investing within financial market's intermediary functions are mentioned hereby.
